Something heard on the radio this morning...

Rocks

Sitting at home, drinking tea and playing on my pc...nowhere I'd rather be...

Sucks

Waking up feeling sick at 5 am this morning, in bathroom puking by 7.30. Skin feels prickly and the thought of food just really isnt appealing...

Whats the evil wishmaster granted you today?

Biscuits! Oh I love biscuits. I love them so hard I think one day I might just turn into one giant biscuit. Mmmm yummy, crunchy, creamy biccies, dunked into my steamy coffee then crammed whole into my mouth.

sucks

Being at work and being constantly aware of the fact I need to do all of my xmas shopping and I haven't got a clue what to buy for anyone.

ROCKS

Lovely lazy Christmas, picking up the turkey, shopping for gifts and looking forward to a great 2006

SUCKS

Having just done the worst interview and 'personality test' ever for a job I would have rather liked.
Toad-faced tech support manager (Like the uncle out of series one of the League of Gentlemen) looking at me blankly and asking stupid questions about personality traits while the sleepy looking HR woman just simpered..

Hey, London, why not try playing Urban Dead! It's a massive low-tech multiplayer zombie game and it's lots of fun!

To be fair, London, you haven't made any effort on TMO for literally months, unless you count starting threads on getting website help or mining people's thoughts on gaming for an article that you're writing. Oh and a second thread on a meat that you didn't turn up to. Don't get me wrong - I like your posts and find them quite amusing in a shit kind of way but I'd have more sympathy for your comments if I felt that what you posted wasn't largely served by self interest.

ROCKS: i am so frickin organised this year i make delia smith look like a HOBO digging around in the bins for brussel sprouts peelings on a sleety christmas eve. a HOBO i tell you. i got up at 9 am this morning to go to ikeawl to buy an oven glove for my mother. ikeawl was, for the first time in my experience, completely devoid of ice- cream faced children in reins bellowing and pawing the ground with their hooves like miniature randy reindeer or easter island faced women saying things like 'yes, but ecru doesnt go with lavender, does it' to their mystified partners, in the same tone you might imagine them hissing 'no, the clitoris is in front of the urethra, not behind it'. so nice was ikeawl today that the textiles department had employed a pair of butch lesbains to rifle through the cages of bedding in a playful manner and therefore fill our hearts with gladness, and i didnt get elbowed in the face once! i was in and out in 20 minutes and i had a hot dog and klingonberry juice for breakfast. WORD.

sucks: i can think of nuffin. im on holiday now. last night it was staff drinks at my work: the sous- chef got his cock out. there was a small brown mushroom- shaped stain on my mind for some minutes afterwards, like when you hear about national servicemen in woomera closing their eyes when the a- bomb was set off but seeing the mushroom cloud behind their eyelids nonetheless.

I got my gift too! And i opened it! And it was gr9! And I feel right guilty about not sending mine. I'd forgotten that the limit was £10, and got a cheap piece of shit. So, back to square one.

My excuse for opening it, Veep, was that I wasn't entirely sure that it was from An Elf, and thought it might be wrapped up inside its Jiffy bag, in which case it could have gone under the tree...

This seems to come up a lot. TMO's not broke. People just like to say it is. Something else grabs the attention and it carries on humming in the back ground, while the 'next big thing' takes over for a bit.

Yay, a special bulletin from Elvis. I knew he'd come back. We only had to mention the word 'cock' enough. It has the same effect on him as a pretty lady saying 'cock' to a guy on a first date, I think its the way the mouth moves. Girls don't say 'cock' enough or do enough eye-contact when they're saying it. Girls, think of it like a blow job and put some effort in. Guys, when she's saying it, don't dribble, or stare at her mouth and imagine one sliding in, it puts the ladies off.

Sucks
Thats just me isn't it. Sorry.

If women in distress give you a thrill, then the morning I've just had will give you a boner the size of the Eiffel Tower. The sadistic female dentist just extracted my tooth, and I wasn't even expecting it. It was one of the most horrible experiences of my whole fucking life.

'What? Extract it? Right now? I'm not mentally ready!' I wailed. 'Well, you don't want to be IN PAIN over Christmas, do you?' she said. 'We don't open again till the 4th January!' In the waiting-room my legs and arms shook as the anasthetic took hold. I don't think I've ever shaken with fear before.

Back in the chair, she looked into my eyes and cupped my face with her gloved hands and said 'It won't hurt. I promise. You won't feel a thing.' And then... the gripping, the TWISTING, the WRENCHING. She had to get the assistant to hold my head because apparently I was moving it too much. Tears streamed out of my eyes and my hands clenched the arms of the chair. It was like the most extreme rough sex with all of the pleasure and excitement removed. It was the most violent thing that has ever happened to me.

Afterwards I sobbed so hard I could not go into the waiting-room. There were children there. They stared and pointed as I ran down the stairs to the bathroom, where I sat and sobbed for half an hour. All this horror and it is not even lunchtime. I sobbed all the way home through Shoreditch and people stared at me but I could not stop. Happy Christmas, fuckers.

I'm stunned by how often they pull teeth in the UK.

I had a couple pulled in the UK when I lived there, but here in Holland they never pull a tooth unless there's like a hole in your jaw you can poke a finger into.

Bad luck Londie, still cheaper than a root canal I expect.

Are you having bridgework to fix it ?

Poor ole London. [Frown]

Your Christmas wonderland will now comprise a clammy interior landscape of gristle and fucked flesh as the delicate tippy-tongue is compelled to probe the wreckage every five seconds or so for at least the next week. I recommend strong liquor and a large helping of the visual arts to help distract you from this truffling, meaty horror.

this was because i didn't have enough room in my mouth for all the teeth, bot because i'd fucked them with penny chews and fizzy drinks, london.

Posted by MiscellaneousFiles (Member # 60) on :

I had my upper wisdoms wrenched out earlier in the year. It didn't hurt when they were doing it, thanks to the plentiful anaesthetic, but it did feel a bit weird to have two large South African hands removing things from my head. The wounds didn't stop bleeding for two weeks.

I think they're supposed to be taking the bottom two out at some point, so I've still got that to look forward to.

I have a rocks and sucks story. All in one, like a pizza blowjob. Last Tuesday (true), I was coming back from London on a train. I wasn’t feeling very well. I had this tummy bug that’s going around. Anyway, upshot is I hadn’t eaten properly for two days and I drank heavily on the train.

Barry might like to know that I went to Bodean’s BBQ pit on his instruction. Pulled pork. And then left! That’s a Bodean’s joke.

By the time I got off the train I was wobbly Bob. I walked through the fabulous entranceway to Bristol that is Templemeads station, the automatic doors swooshing like muscled air. Thisisbristol. They said. Homeofwinners. And I took my place in the queue of people waiting for a lift. And all of a sudden a lady yawed over my right shoulder as if sea-bound and puked in the gutter. Some very nearly almost hit one of my shoes. And perhaps the microbes did. Anyway, she fell over and she had no knickers on. I had a great view of her growler. It was trimmed and purple. Like a liverish aubergine. Shiny but flesh.

Being drunk, I couldn’t help but stare.

Her husband took offence to me staring. Not to his wife rolling around with her undercarriage out like a playful airplane. But to me taking an innocent peep. And my wife pulled up in the car. And as she opened the door, he opened his mouth and I couldn’t quite close it in time.

He called me a dirty **** looker. That took some explaining.

Posted by 69 Comeback Elvis (Member # 9) on :

Also: dirty **** looker? Weirdo. What’s dirty about looking at a **** ? Or was the **** itself dirty? It didn’t look a dirty **** . Although he looked rough as arseholes.

Happy Christmas everybody!

I saw this and I thought of you, sixx man.

Sorry to hear about the funding though. Is this like a government department trying to backtrack after the Senate rules to impose limits on genetic modification experiments? Only it's too late..you can't give up now because you're so close, so as the special bio weapons soldiers move in wearing hazmats and carring ultra light automatic weapons, you grab your samples and drive in your custom pickup to the other lab where you carry on your work.

The government think everything is okay, until one evening a janitor accidentally knocks over the sample cooling unit in the bio-experiments live archive, only to discover that instead of a standard steel sample can, the unit contains a six pack of Coors.

 -

Immediately, maverick agent Theo Wichinski and his new sidekick Eric Koltz are put onto track down what happened to the missing sample. Theo is a wise cracking divorcee from Chicago, who always carries a picture of his daughter, and his treasured harmonica along with his customised nine and agency ID. Koltz on the other hand, is by the book, a young dude fresh out of agency school. Top marks, real potential, but not a free thinker, and is uncomfortable with Theo's rule breaking.

 -

A paper trail road trip from a mysterious fire at a known crack den in Washington leads them South. On the way, they bond, and the further South they get, the more Koltz learns to appreciate the need to follow your heart as well as your head. One night, after he's been drinking with Theo, he gets out of control, and almost in an attempt to prove how Theo's relaxed approach to the job is fundamentally wrong (in his opinion), he allows himself to be seduced by a mysterious woman, who bites him during sex, but is found dead the next morning, half naked by the payphone. Only the bite doesn't appear to heal properly, and Theo begins to worry for Koltz's health...

 - -

As the duo get nearer the truth, and enter the seedy underworld of nashvilles' biotech blackmarket they realise that maybe you've been rogue long before the funding was cut, and that your experiments have been more fruitful, and more evil, than anybody could ever have imagined.

Is it like that? If so, it sounds cool.

man i fucking wish.
its more a case of "keep working, keep working, maybe i'll convince them i'm worth keeping."
when in the back of my head i'm thinking "jesus, why do i want to stay? this isn't fun, this is hard, my life is nonexistent, it would be easier if i just went home, regrouped and went somewhere else".

Oh Ben, you have no idea just how true this is. As for the tooth, my family keep pointing at me and saying 'dry socket!!!!' and laughing. I do not know what a dry socket is and can confirm that this is not a problem I tend to suffer from too often. I am rinsing with salt water and the bits of gum are all closing up and swelling and rising around it, like when land rises up around a grave. I am petrified that they will close up completely with a small slimy bit of food, a tomato seed perhaps, trapped inside it. The food will slowly liquefy and moulder inside its gumflesh coffin, leading to a tomato-flavoured abscess; or, perhaps worse, the seed will find its gumflesh bedding favourable growing conditions, and soon a tiny leaf will penetrate; a tomato-vine grow inside my skull; a ripe fruit nestling in the space where my molar once was.

Not a good Christmas, to be honest. Roll on 2006. Which has just given me an idea for a(n extremely obvious) thread...
