I have a boudoir shoot coming up next week – pictures that will be a gift for my client’s husband.
Thought it might be fun (and informative) if you tmo members could offer up your ideas as to what is sexy (but within the tasteful realm – if you can handle that).
What pose/clothing/lighting would you want in a portrait of your wife/girlfriend/love interest?

Straightjacket. Head shaved. Ball gag. Hanging from a noose of electric flex. Toes clinging to a teetering stool. Baby spot. Diffuse filter. 120mm. f3.5.

You can't really go wrong with the classic Pulp Fiction Uma pose:
Fag is optional, but I'd drop the pout for a wry smile. Perhaps even resting the chin non-chalantly on the back of a relaxed spare hand (if fagless), or cupping the side of the face elegantly. As above, nice accentutated cleavage, bedroom eyes off from centre, perhaps even slightly drooped head looking up and into the lens. Legs as above.
Bed good, either black or red dress (Black if larger lady). Tight and high heels again as above. Props - sometbing to break up from the colour of the sheets or whatever the subject is posing on - use a colour wheel to get the contrast if sheet is not black.
Cliched maybe, but looks good to me. In fact I might go for a wank now.
I'm with Waynster on the pose, although I'd say a sultry expression rather than a wry smile, something that says classy, sexy and confident.

Depends what the subject wants - if its to go on the wall of the house, naked might upset the grandparents, hence my assumption. And anyway, some clothing is usually more erotic than none.

Dude. Pictures for your client's husband? What the hell do you do for a living?
Not sure I can recommend anything without knowing a bit more about the circumstances, but someone took one of the only pictures I've ever truly liked of me with Brigitte Bardot-esque messed up hair, dark eye makeup, pretty black lingerie etc, putting lipstick on in a mirror, so you could kind of see my back and a bit of my arse, but also most of my front reflected in the mirror. Proper boudoir esque. Am googling a picture now to see if 1) the one of me ever made it onto the internet and 2) if not, I can find one that will explain a bit better.

Perché? I was just agreeing that the Mike Figgis film is extraordinarily hot, especially if you just watch the trailer. The long version goes on a bit. x

yeah i only watched the trailer. like four times. the full version doesn't like my computer for some reason. the trailer is seriously hot, and i'm not one for breathy noir. nor for that matter, open display of female sexuality. way way better than the not hot at all kylie ad.
