God, this is going to be a farce isn't it. Public vengeance for the Westminster MPs having their moats cleaned and stuff is to vote a load of stinking fascists in to the European Parliament.

I've had one fucking leaflet through the door so far, and not a single real-life canvasser in sight. I'm still going down there to vote though, first thing. But not for the Nazis.

I've had a leaflet through from labour telling me evil the Lib Dems are because they won't jail people for marijuana possession and they will raise tax rather than taking us further into debt.
These seem like good reasons to vote LD to me.
Should I have got a voting card through? I'm on the electoral register so assume that I am allowed to vote, but haven't had a card thing through.

You should have received an Official Poll Card, but mine says, "This card is for information only. You can vote without it, but it will save time if you take it to the polling station and show it to the clerk there." So, no worries.

If I read the phrases "voice for the man on the street", "immigrant hand outs" and "i voted BNP" again in the next hour, I may actually kill someone.

I just walked through Victoria Station. There I saw an elderly gentleman with no teeth, extremely thick spectacles and a transparent raincoat over layers and layers of feelthy clothing, chanting "BNP, YEAH! BNP, YEAH!" at the top of his voice.
