I did this one in Milton Keynes once, but it was a stupid, pointless waste of time.

I wonder if either of you have considered using software components instead of writing your own bespoke code?

here's a snippet from an old workhorse:

f_crit = ""
f_col = ""
Windows(thisfile).Activate
Sheets("CE").Select
For Each cell In CE_R
cell.Select
If ActiveCell.Value = AppName Then
f_crit = ActiveCell.Offset(0, 2).Value
f_col = ActiveCell.Offset(0, 1).Value
End If
Next cell

Windows(appnamefile).Activate
If f_crit <> "" Then

If Cells(1, 18).Value = "" Then
Windows(appnamefile).Close False
change_csv = MsgBox("application " & AppName & " requires extended data. Please replace " & AppName & ".csv with a corrected version", vbRetryCancel)

If change_csv = vbRetry Then GoTo retry_csv
If change_csv = vbCancel Then Exit Sub
End If

Range("1:1").Find(What:=f_col, Lookat:=xlWhole).Activate

f_col = ActiveCell.Column

Selection.AutoFilter Field:=f_col, Criteria1:="=*" & f_crit & "*"

End If

If f_crit = "" Then

Your picture is a lot better than mine mart, but it doesn't have two consoles in shot.

I have taken a lot of shots of food on shitty black and white plates indeed. (Although they're actually dark brown and cream)

That looks like it's probably quite "good".

I have been having fun with old synthesisers that I thought I'd never play with again.

And yes I'm very pleased with that shot of the cat.

I suspect that one of the reasons my photo didn't look very professional is that not may professionals take their shots with a Nokia N95 phone.

I hope it is "good". I'm planning to pair it up with some ESI nEar 05s that I picked up on the cheap a few months ago. Been using a Joe Meek pre amp with an ancient Audigy soundcard until now, so this should make for a nice upgrade.

What are the old synths you've been playing with?

Roland D-110 and MKS-50, both with their external programmers, for parameter slider fun. The D-110 was the first synth I ever owned, and could never work it out, and then years later I bought the PG-10 to programme it, and could still never really understand it. A few days ago I hooked them up again, and suddenly I got it, and was able to access its analogue part, and its filter, and it now sounds really meaty and late 80s synthy.

I also found a song from about ten years ago that I spent ages and ages and ages working on, and then lost entirely when a computer blew up on me, but I came across a version of it I put on tape once, and it's genuinely fucking ACE. Even without a bass line, which didn't make it onto the tape.

I'm interested. Someone asked me if I wanted to release an Interloper EP on their record label and I wrote to the band but Misc didn't respond so that was a :-/ moment.

I would totally buy an Interloper EP. The record company can add that to their risk analysis.

Especially as that thieving, pikey, cumbucket VP stole the 'house' copy of the Interloper CD when we moved out.

I've never heard anything by Interloper but I reckon I'd buy a copy so that's two sales already.

Anyway. I completed Bioshock 2 singleplayer yesterday. Got all the single player achievements other than beating the game on the hardest difficulty which I don't thinK i can be bothered to do as I'm not particularly inclined to play through the game again. I got the one where you complete the game without using a vitachamber and that was really really easy to get on normal mode. I'm guessing that hard mode just means you have less health and enemies have more health and possibly there is less ammo around rather than enemies having a better level of AI so that isn't very interesting.

I might try to get some of the easy multiplayer chieves at some stage if my friend doesn't get his Xbox fixed and demand the game back.

Beefy said he didn't use the vitachamber on hard and I think he's talking the old BS. It's so massively unbalanced as to be supreme drudgery.

I can imagine that he didn't. The game was ridiculously easy on normal mode. Especially when you get a few powerups. The frost thing is so overpowered and when you get hypnotize 3 and can get a big daddy/big sister fighting on your team, you're basically invincible.

On hard though Cherry. It takes nearly a full clip of mini gun fire to kill about 3 splicers.

That doesn't sound fun. I dislike games that think they can just make different difficulty levels just by increasing the health of enemies.

Bayonetta was quite good for different difficulties as it acutally changes the way enemies attacked rather than just increasing their health.
