It is still a young beard so it is still a work in progress. I have clippers now but haven't trimmed yet as I don't want to trim too early as that may offend the beard if it feels it hasn't developed enough before being pruned.
This is my first ever full beard. It's alright and saves me about 6 minutes every morning.

I'll be honest: I didn't really understand Froopy's comment at all. I wondered whether he was sarcastically saying that I couldn't get chicks because I kept insulting women. Then I tried to think of how many women I'd ever met that would be insulted by the idea they knew nothing about bandwidth and ping, and I thought that the answer was probably 'none'. So I thought maybe it was just, like, a glitch in the Matrix. Then I stopped thinking about it.

CiH with beard and bright eyes reminds me a bit of Billy Crystal in When Harry Met Sally. The bit where Harry has a beard, anyway.

I tried to grow a beard. I got to about three weeks in and got sick of it. I was having visions of a big full beard like Captain Haddock or Brian Blessed but it just made me itch and look like a homeless. When I shaved it off my skin was all puffy and irritated underneath, it was horrible.

played through the 'death toll' one on left4dead on advanced level, but it was too advanced for stringer13ell, mister egg, xhzizx, and johnjwaters. Ended up bailing on the final 'wait for the boat' section, after about ten attempts.

It's a good look though, I like your hair longer too. You certainly look more like a creative and less like a corporate.

Thanks. I thought your new haircut looked pretty good too. Pretty daring, but if the dude out of the dandy warhols can get away with it, why can't you.

I finished Lost Odyssey last night. That was a truly excellent RPG. I really enjoyed it. 90 hours played and 980 Gamer points accrued. Excellent characters and great storyline and fantastic cleavage on two of the main characters. Highly recommended.
Next RPG is either Fable 2 or Eternal Sonata. I think I'll go for Fable.

When I was mulling over what to do with my evening yesterday Octavia said 'Why don't you play Left 4 Dead with Benway?' and I said 'I can't anymore, he hates me,' and burst into tears. Anyway. Octavia rang up Louise and spoke to her about it. Apparently Louise was all like 'I wondered why Benway was in such a grumpy mood this evening', anyway after a brief bit of chatter on their part they put us each on the phone and I mumbled 'awight Benway' and he was like 'awight', and then there was a bit of silence and he said 'I was just thinking of watching Robocop', and I replied 'Yeah it's a good film that - I like the bit with the robot in the board room' and Benway was all like 'yeah, it's good that bit', and we ended up talking for twenty minutes and the evening didn't seem so bad after that.

I got sent a £5 off voucher for zavvi but the code doesn't work so they're sending me a new one, and as left 4 dead is £24.95 there and 10% off until the end of the day and then another £5 off if I get the voucher, that should take it down to £17.50ish which is pretty good considering all the second hand places are selling it to £35-40. It does mean I can't play this weekend though which I'm sure you're all upset about.

I've never understood the attraction to Halo. I've never played the multi-player though. It must make the difference. There is nothing at all satisfying about shooting pathetic bouncy aliens with purple guns that literally go peew peew.

Yes, it's all about the multiplayer. Although I've not played the first 2 so I'm judging this entirely on Halo 3. I thought the single player campaign was very uninspiring, but multiplayer on it is excellent. There are lots of options and you can tell your team mates to keep it tight which makes it all worth it.

Yeah, seconded, it's all about the multiplayer and having gone back to it after playing COD and GOW it really is the most basic formula, Red versus Blue.
There was a lot of chat that I didn't understand though. "one shot", "double shot" "going long haul" "Dude just four shotted me"

Anyone up for some Left 4 dead this weekend? I've given up on zavvi so will just buy it from a "shop" instead. If anyone is up for it this weekend I shall pick it up on the way home today and get some practice in.
If not, then you know what, I'll probably just go home and look at boobs.
