Week has been acceptable, and work seems to be going very well, without any seeming influence from me. This may be because I am in some sort of hormonal soup, preventing me from giving a shit about anything. It's great.
Wearing: black jumper dress, black boots, black maternity tights, which I suspect I have on the wrong way round, and a pashmina scarf, due to air-con chill.
Tonight: nowt. Ready meal from Waitrose - ooh, get me - and horizontality on settee.
Weekend: yet more DI-bloody-Y. Dinner with sis tomorrow night. Visiting inlaws on Sunday. Pretty standard issue...

Week - extremely average. Work has been a drag. Went to BUG on Wednesday, which was alright. Got a headache / sickness today, totally unprovoked.
Wear - blue jeans, polo shirt from uniqlo, black and yellow air max '97s
Lunch - reheated squash soup that I made last weekend
Email - newsletter from a web company called 'evernote', proudly announcing a successful round of funding.
Album - Not much since I got spotify. Picked up 'Apache ain't shit' by Apache, the Manhunter soundtrack, cutcopy, nothing incredible. Still listening to a fair bit of comedy. Really liking Todd Barry (click for clip)
Film - rewatched Eden Lake, as I already done mentioned. Got Hamlet 2, The Ruins and My Neighbour Totoro downloaded, ready for viewing.
Book - reading a thing about transgressive cinema from New York in the early eighties. It's called 'Deathtripping - the extreme underground'. It's good. Lots of -isms. Also read the second of the '100 bullets' books. that was alright too.
Weekend - Nothing tonight, probably gym followed by a bit of left4dead with my homeboy JohnJ. Have a glass of whisky. Friend coming over tomorrow (she's staying with christina tonight who btw is totally massively pregnant at the moment) and there's going to be a little shindig in angel tomorrow night. We're going to cut up some rugs to celebrate louise's recent birthday. Sunday, don't know. i imagine I'll be wailing and vomiting due to the booze. Sunday night, head into chinatown and follow Black Mask around all night.

Week - Work work work (I was sent three emergency translations yesterday), plus play rehearsals. I get to say "Well by 'eck!" and "Oh aye" and "'appen" a lot.
Weekend - Work work work (everybody's gotta make a wage, innit).
I did my tax return the other day, and was pleased when I only had to pay 48.06, which included 88p owing from the previous year. I duly paid up, and three days later I got a nice letter from Her Majesty's, saying thanks for the claim to repayment, we've transferred 47.18 to your account! So, er, they didn't want my tax this year. I don't know whether to tell them I think they've made a mistake.
Bloody hell -- in the time I wrote that, another "emergency" translation has come through. Do it in the next half an hour or the client doesn't want it.

Week - bits of both really - job front is still grim, my home server crashed again unexpicably so I am having to reinstall it again, and my ex-employer forgot to pay me, and when they did they forgot several months owing back pay for the 5th month in a row. On the plus got to see a couple of bands for free 't other night and a couple of old mates. Oh and I seem to be becoming a bit of an auctioneer - not only have I been charged with selling my mates vinyl, another mate has the shirt from Maradona's last ever international and he wants me to try and sell it for him on a commission - potentially could be worth a few grand, so could make a bob or two on that.
Clothed Yes. Ogri T-shirt, Black Levis, bad hair.
Weekend Full of fun and frolics - tomorrow is the AGM of my fantasy football league so this involves drinking, football and catching up with some old friends who are flying in from various places and plotting our weekend away to Hamburg this year (St Pauli - Jetz gehts los!)
Writing Started doing a lot of this - I'm not one to get political or get behind a cause but recently I have been talking a lot to a good friend of mine who is sadly dying from Hepatitis C, which he contracted through a tainted blood transfusion from the NHS in 1980, and which the government refuses to acknowledge as a mistake or apologise for. There is a lot more to it so when I have finished writing it all up, I'll post a linky to have a look at if you want, rather than go into too much detail but in the meantime, if you have a spare while visit Slowly Slowly Catchy Monkey and Tainted Blood - there really is a lot that stinks to high heaven about it all, and it really needs awareness about it being raised.
Listening Lots of new stuff - Wir Sind Helden, The Dirtbombs*, Old forgotten Kraftwerk albums, The Distillers and many more..
Watching Not much - saw control the other night which was very good, not much more.
Lunch - nothing, might go to Tesco's to see what I can get.
Email - waiting for my promotions manager to say something regarding the flyerwork I did
Album - I'm not. I'm listening to these people to see if I'll book them. I find the vocals annoyingly Artic Monkeys/Cocknee Sparrar bullshit, but I don't have to like them. I just have to book, support, pay and hopefully make money off. That's a bit mean really. they're young and having a laugh. Stop being a prick, Michael.
Film - Sweeney Todd. Enjoyed it surprisingly. Watched the Dark Knight again the other night and loved it again.
Book - Tim Moore, Do Not Pass Go. Shockingly funny. Also, keep looking at the Mac 10.5 Server essentials book in prep for a week off of study soon. Erk.
Weekend - probably chilling with my Lovely tonight. Might raid the money jar and buy some booze. Getting up early tomorrow to go to lunch with my parents and my Brother as it's his birthday. Suppose I'd better get together with Jack and The Lovely Hair. Talk to him about our first nights to promote.

Week: Mostly normal office clusterfuckery. Worked from home Wednesday in part due to a snowstorm but mostly because increasingly I'm trying to avoid going to the office whenever possible.
Wear: Jeans (Levis of some designation) and a green knit polo-type shirt. Unfashionable look capped by black New Balance trainers.
Email: Frenzied exchanges about planned changes to the company user conference and how much we're going to have to pay in penalties. Resisting the urge to surface and recirculate emails I wrote in December, which would had avoided the current issues had the executives listened.
Album: I don't do music much anymore. The most recent 'musical discovery' I made was flight of the conchords but that really doesn't count.
Film: Haven't seen anything for months.
Book: Trying to find time to get through Dan Ariely's 'predictably irrational'. Yes kids it's fun with economics.
Weekend: Probably doing some combination of housework and watching the girls tomorrow. Heading to NYC Sunday afternoon for a trade show that opens Monday.

week - long, long hours. General boredom at work coupled with bigger questions of what I really want to be doing
wear - I have to use such a small amount of brain power on clothing choice during the week - shorts, black tee-shirt - that come the weekend I'm overwhelmed and tend to just go with jeans and a button down shirt of some short sleeved kind. In todays case, a blue gingham one.
email - discussion about the governments plans re the radio bandwidth uses and changes
lunch - had chili and apple pie - currently drinking a cold vitamin water and eating a bag of veggie-pirate booty
book - Moby Dick, and Final Crisis issue 7

Week - Alright. Very unremarkable. Nearly died of cabin fever. Avoided snow.
Wear - blue jeans, black puma santa cruz 'screaming hand' t-shirt.
Lunch - nothing yet, still feeling a bit blurgh from last night. Will probably get a chick schnitzel later.
Email - EVE Online registration confirmation.
Album - Same as last Friday, I haven't picked up any albums because of spotify. Got some singles though, on the back of BUG that I talked about last week.
Film - Watched a documentary about the Halloween films. I now know more than I'll ever need to about the tension between director and writer on the set of Halloween 6.
Book - Book about Goya's black paintings. Planning next tattoo.
Weekend - Totally nothing. Maybe town tomorrow, get some track suit bottoms. I want to just cook, clean, play xbox, eat well, and hang around with louise.

Isn't Eve like playing a game in a spreadsheet?
It looks like an amazing world, but I can't be bothered to learn it. And I hear it's got quite an expensive monthly subscription.

Week - My arms are now both crooked so a short day each day and the Doctor yesterday, now I have painkillers which helps but my hands still don't work proper which makes typing really hard
Wear - 501's, Chelsea boots and an orange swirly Ben Sherman shirts
Lunch - Bar-B-Q Microwave burger
Email - Some complex issue about what gets printed and displayed on credit card statements and online authorisations by an American bank which I have to fix apparently.
Album - It's not me, it's you - Lily Allens new one - OK, I know it's terrible to admit to actually liking Lily Allen but I do and there's nothing I can do about it..
Film - Zak and Miri make a porno - It's really not very good.
Book - The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall - Pretty damn good but I am reading the reviewers copy so the actual book might be different
Weekend - Flop on the sofa, play with the kids and play Skate 2 on the PS3 as it's one of the few things I can do that doesn't hurt my arms.

Week - dull really. Went out and watched some footie on the telly Wednesday at the pub, apart from that, not much else apart from staying up stupid hours watching movies. Oh and applying for lots of jobs, so far without any response
Album: After a week of endlessly listening to new stuff I have not really played much. Still liking the Distillers a lot
Book: Currently contemplating some technical manuals and training guides to learn some new skills
Films: Saw the Reader yesterday which was pretty good. Also Rescue Dawn which wasn't bad either.
Wearing. I have only just got up after staying up til 10am, so it doesn't involve trousers and may be TMI.
Email: Popbitch
Lunch: Nowt yet, though it will be breakfast for me - beans on toast maybe?
Weekend: Nothing serious planned - supposed to have a mate coming round to fix my satellite, but I think he has conveniently forgotten again. Also have planned a call to Texas to my futurewife* about her forthcoming relocation to the 'Dam. Write more job applications.
(* not to be taken quite so literally, but who knows?)

Week - Not too bad, trying to get back into the swing of things after 3 weeks away, not too much of a backlog thankfully. Atmosphere is pretty rubbish though due to the ongoing redundancy drive..
Album - Been listening to old Ozzie Osbourne and Paradise Lost mostly..
Wearing - Black Gap jeans, white long sleeve t-shirt with a black 'Ankhor Beer' t-shirt over the top, brown boots.
Email - Some crap about updating my database to bring the list of glazed-roof/normal roof bus shelters up to date, thrilling..
Lunch - Steak and ale pie and a pint of 'Jail Ale', yum.
Weekend - Buying a PS3 as a birthday pressie to self, hopefully with Fifa 2009 and Little Big Planet but it depends what deals they have really, quite fancy Fallout 3 too..

I lived for that shit when I was like 10 years old. That and vision street wear. Only stickers, mind you, for my deck. That's all I could afford, because I was 10.

Week - Alright. Enjoyed snow on monday, got some work to do now so I'm panicing less about missing payments, going bankrupt and generally doing some sort of epic fail.. alhthough there's still every chance this may happen, it's great being self-employed *looks at bread knife*
Wear - blue jeans, grey t-shirt, slippers and a black fleece... Christ on a bike... I don't even know what pants I put on this morning.
Lunch - Did some scrambled eggs on toast, following a delia smith recipe, forgotten how easy scrambled eggs were to cook... fucking hell.. I want to die..
Email - Guy from the past approaching me for some design work.. result!
Album - I never buy albums, I too am on the spotify, destroy the music industry, bandwagon, listening to the radio station set to techno - Gigi D'Agostino & Love Family – Viaggetto er, yeh whatever I turned it off now anyway.
Film - Mama Mia, the DVD really lacks the punch of the full cinema experience, there was no singing along from the audience and no old people got up and started dancing around when the credits came up. Pierce Brosnan's singing still cracked me up though. Awesome.
Book - I don't have anything to read. Last thing I read was about skateboard graphics - disposable.
Weekend - No plans yet, got skate 2 on xbox so some of my evening leisure time will be spent playing that I guess... *picks up bread knife*

There was something bold and brash about old skate wear that was really cool to buy into. now, skatewear looks so alterna-slick that you feel a bit like you've shopped at Burtons.

My week was pretty good really. We found out that the next natwest advert is being filmed in our branch next week, so we've had random media types wandering around talking about stuff they need to change to make the place look adverty, lighting and camera angles, and the fact that our basic bank calendar doesn't look 'RBS' enough, wtf that means. So next week should be fairly entertaining, with it officially being business as usual, despite the fact that there'll be 25 extra people wandering around filming stuff and all the staff trying to look good and get on tv.
My weekend isn't going to be so great though, as Pink is trapped up at his parents due to the damn snow, so I'm home alone. Am working tomorrow then planning on getting my hair done, so if I get to look stupid on tv, at least I'll look stupid with good hair, and will sweet talk my mum into taking me out for sunday lunch.
