That's fantastic news - congratulations to you all. How are the boys looking forward to having a younger sister to take care of?

The boys were with their Grandad when Marianne was born, and sounded a little lukewarm on the phone when they were told they had a sister. They saw her this morning and just flipped. It was really moving, actually. Everything's gonna be coooool.
Marianne is proving to be a lot of fun, although I'd forgotten what hard work newborns are. Got a few hours last night... Liz continues to astonish me. She seems to be impervious to the strains of breast-feeding, sleep-deprivation, providing constant care and attention... plus she's looking fantastic and doing all of the above with amazing good humour. Women ROCK!

Only just got round to popping in and couldn't pop out again without saying congratulations to Barry and Mrs Barry! Excellent news - Marianne does indeed look fabulous.

Seems a lot of newborns have the "old man" look. Our youngest daughter looked more than slightly like Winston Churchill. And while she's now more than a year old, she still has his hair.
