Well, I'm glad it's back. Having TMO offline is a bit like driving by the old house to find it's been bulldozed. I mean, you may not live there anymore, but damn it, so many memories, you know? It makes you all angry. Maybe a little teary-eyed. And you want to throw a rock at the bastards who knocked it down.
But then you look a second time and the house is still there. And you keep driving. On the way to wherever it was you were going in the first place. Like Facebook, for instance.
Which gives me an idea. Probably not a very good one, in which way it's consistent with virtually every single other idea I've ever had here. But it is an idea, even if it may be the single worst idea for a thread since the Great Alphabet Thread of two thousand wheneveritwas.

I was gutted when I saw TMO had gone down. I was like "dammit, I should have posted more while I had the chance". Stupidly it's banned in my workplace for being adult, even though the opposite is often true. But I'm very glad it's back. I'd been reduced to visiting the comments section on Yahoo! news stories, which is where people go when they find Have Your Say too intellectually fast-paced and left wing.

I'm very glad tmo is back. Like Froopy said, it felt like someone had bulldozed my old home when it wasn't there anymore. So thank you Darryn and Damon's Off for keeping the bulldozers at bay. I guess not many of us actually "talk" on here very much any more, and this must be my second post in the best part of a year. However, TMO needs to be around, just because - the Interweb would be missing something otherwise.
Of course, I met Nightowl on TMO - and January next year will mark ten years together. Ten years - it's a little difficut to believe at times.
