Shame that they have the ten places to pick from. Battersea Powerstation is a fucking eyesore, a waste of a massive slab of land, that is about as attractive as the Millenium Dome.
They asked people in Camden (North London Goths) Notting Hill (rehabers, and trustafarians) and Oxford Street (tourists and too busy's).
Any view from the south bank at sunset is beautiful...
Unless it's the view of the youth of today beating someone to death, of course.

Battersea Power Station is one element in my favourite London vista. If you stand at the top of the slip road that leads down to the transport police office on Ebury Bridge and look out across the nexus of railway tracks towards BPS you see all the elements, in one sweep, that made London (and Britain) great. LSB schools, social housing, mass transit, public sanitation, industry and filth. At twilight with the trains sparking in and out of Victoria it's a magical place.

Not original - but from any of the central bridges Waterloo, Blackfriars, Westminister at night time. The panoramic view of the whole river, the Tower, St Pauls, the Eye, is beautiful.

If Nelson's column and Piccadilly Circus are listed then they have clearly been talking to lots of tourists, who are going more by reputation than actual reality.

Looking out over the city from Parliment Hill is lovely, but it might be too 'wide' and distant to be photographed to full effect.
