Hello. we are on Red alert, waiting to accept casualties. I wish I was back at Royal London Hospital. I could be doing something instead of waiting.
I feel very proud to be in London today. It makes me more determined to get on with my life.
I WILL NOT allow them to make me afraid to live my life. gotta go, been called

It's an odd mix down here. They've cordoned off the two main roads, it seems, and the only food supply I found was a tiny Newsagents next to The Bedford Tavern, crammed with people, and virtually picked clean of chocolate bars and crisps.

Vogon I have no idea either. Either i walk from primrose hill to Balham (not tempting) or I hole up in north London and take on these people's kind offers of hospitality.
Mikee, I'm with ya man. Scary as.

Senior Management are in a meeting now and they're letting us know the deal at 2.30pm. I hope they say we can go home if we can get there, it'll take me about an hour and 30 mins to walk back but I'd rather do that than sit here.

I'm so glad I work with nursey, mumsy types. The office is filled with rations like chocolate biscuits and cheddars. If only I had some spam to get into the feel a bit more. Oh how I've been a fool to knock the war-time champion - spam.

I'm sort of fucked, because I would offer to meet up with you girls, but you're both in opposite directions. I don't want to be stuck here. I know they don't want anyone to travel, but I can't think anyone would waste a bomb on just me.

Well said! And good luck for today.
I have to say the emergency services have dealt with this whole catcastrophe absolutely brilliantly - the Police have on the whole kept panic to a minimum, the Fire and Ambulance Crews have dealt with so many casualties with amazing speed and effectiveness, and just the combined efforts of all the involved services are really something to be admired at.

Back in my own building now. The lady in the next office confirmed there was a controlled explosion out on Exhibition Rd, opposite our main front entrance, as she heard the bang. I'm sure they wouldn't have bothered with a bomb here if they hadn't gone and built a nice new shiny front door and got the Queen to open it.
Are there any buses anywhere?

Tom, she could try and contact her local ambulance service and offer her assistance.

Wonder how many bicycles will be sold in Central London today? Probably about three. People would rather sleep in parks and shop doorways than cycle for about 40 minutes.

Oh dang, you and your cycling shoulder chip. Most people aren't allowed to leave their place of work, let alone do the tour de centre.

If I can get to Victoria, I'm going to try and get home I think. I need my bandy (although I have just bought a scotch egg which is a filling subsitute)

Thanks, Jonesy. Croydon seems a long, long way away at the moment.
One small bonus: obviously our visitors never arrived, so I had to eat up all the biscuits before they went soft.

Ask HR to sort you out in a terrorist emergency when they can't even draw up contract paperwork in time? This is surely the chilling descent into apocalyptic chaos and despair that the terrorists wanted.
