Sweet: Replacemet iPod has just arrived (Brand new and working!)
Sweet: Deal struck for Sunday - 8 patches that can be run from home - Monday and Tuesday off as compensation - not bad for what should be an hours work!
Sweet: Visa have agreed for me to have a credit card again - this means that my name is not mud again with the debt boys, so I can also order my new mobile phone (A Nokia N90)

Sweet - the week's almost over. It's been a thankless, stagnant grind towards a deadline today, that's been causing me a great deal of angst. But it'll be all over by 5.30, thank christ.

Sweet! Have just bought tickets for Noise and Confusion in Cardiff in December, thus handily avoiding the dire office party which "unfortunately" clashes!
Sweet! Boss is in an all-day meeting so I can piss about on t'internet even more obviously than usual!
Sweet! Fantastic Four tonight, meal with 8 friends tomorrow, maybe Madagascar on Sunday night, weather threatening therefore not feeling obliged to work in garden, house tidy due to friend visiting last night, the weekend's my oyster!

Sweet! An ultrasound shows I dont have cancer in a rather sensitive area. Surely I win? (On a side note the invoice said "Ultrasound - small area". Talk about kicking you when you're down!)
Sweet! There is a Botswana mini-meat tonight with Squeegy and the Niffer in attendance. All are welcome but you'd have to catch a flight pretty sharpish to make it.

sweet - Just got told that I'm shortly to be moved from doing mainly support work to doing proper development stuff. It's only just occurred to me that doing more and more support work is what was making me so bored with this job after years of enjoying it.
sweet - I just finished listening to the complete works of John Cale (the Welsh geezer out of the Velvet Underground, not J J Cale who I also like) and thoroughly enjoyed it all.
sweet - Schools broke up for the hols yesterday, which halves the daily chores in one stroke. Can actually get some sleep now.

Oh, just remembered I should be glad I'm going to a couple-fest wedding this weekend, as the alternative is a hen weekend where the hen is making her guests play in a netball tournament!

SWEET - Finished re-doing my kitchen to fit in giant American style fridge with cold water dispenser and ice maker that's about 3 times the size of our old fridge and will be full of food after a trip to Carrefour in the morning !

On a related note, I saw a sign the other day reading something like "TMO Decent Homes Development". It was in Chelsea. Are you buying a load of houses in Chelsea for us all to live in, Darryn? Jolly decent of you.

Can we get some of the TMO T-shirts made up in one of those cheapo places you find in shopping malls? I'd still like to get the one that went [TMO] on the front and [/TMO] on the back, is that thread still around anywhere with the various designs in it?

Gnh! Would you believe that there's a camera in the office but both memory cards are full and I can't empty it because the laptop I'm using doesn't have the drivers and I can't really be caught splaying out the t-shirt onto a chair and taking photies.

sweet: Actually got five hours of sleep last night, even if it was in six increments (lately it is the hours to increments ratio that matters: anything >1 would be wonderful).
sweet: Froopy is off next week! More sleep may be coming my way.

I'm sure I can arrange the upload of said TMO T-shirt photos this afternoon when I get home.
Sweet - London and I have got an interview with the housing co-operative where we're hoping to buy a flat designed by Erno Goldfinger, Brutalist Architect and friend of Ian Fleming. The very posh woman told me this morning to contact a mortgage broker before Tuesday next week (day of interview) so all that looks very promising!
Sweet - Brochures from Agricultural colleges have started to arrive and the BSc in Organic Agriculture at the University of Aberystwyth is the firm favourite!!
Sweet - NWoD and I might be moving to Aberystwyth!!!

Yes of course they are: buy flat in London and then if Aber thing goes through then rent out my room in London flat to my sister's wife to cover the mortgage. C'est simple!

btw - h1ppychick - you can get t-shirt transfer paper you can use in your printer then iron onto light coloured t-shirts. you can make your own [tmo] [/tmo] t-shirt! i call that pretty sweet!
