coming up to 4000 posts, London. Anything planned? How about a casio-punk inspired look at TMO, as seen through the eyes of a teenage slut holding two pint glasses up to her eyes and going "woooooouhhhh"?

Bloody hell Benway, you've given me an urge to start crocheting blankets now and distributing them amongst the people of the streets. Any colour preference?

Yeah, so, urm - humanity letting folk down. One example would be that no western government has instituted a law where fat people have to pay double on the bus.

Any others?

What about pregnant people - would that law apply to them too? I suppose they take up as much room, but it just doesn't seem fair (unless they are crack whores w/their latest in a string of pimp pregnancies).

Whu? This post seems based on the idea that pregnant people are somehow better than fat people, when in reality they're as bad if not worse.

Pregnant people would not have to pay double under the MS regime. Their kids will eventually pay taxes (hopefully) and will therefore contribute to society. Their weight serves a purpose.

When I was working for TFL I was told that a law passed made it impossible to charge for foetuses but if a fat person was so hungry that they ate a baby, it would count as a double fare.

I bet they got the UBB right on that thread you were condemning eh Monkususan.

yeah, but Rooster has made it clear that if the woman is pregnant, under the evil influences of addiction, and turning to prostitution to feed her habit, then she's worse than a fat person. This seems fair.

True actually. Because you could give birth to a fat baby.

I'm imagining one of those comic scales at the entrance to the bus. People in line stepping on the scale (like the good egg, bad egg one in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory):
Pregnant, Fat, Pregnant, Fat, Fat - scale makes whirring noise and shoots up, settles and lands on "Pregnant crackwhore" and door opens up to send her to hell.

Pregnant people aren't actually as fat as fat people in my experience. Pregnancy just makes you fat in a single area, whereas most fat folk are fat all over: hips, face, thighs, the works.

But you can pack fat people on the bus by squishing them, not so for pregnant people.

I can't believe Rooster is trying to tell us babies aren't squishy. This one time when I was working at the nursery I was changing a nappy on a baby. I slightly touched his stomach and he pooed everywhere, as if the only thing that was helping him keep his shape, was his shit.

Fat hands are odd. How can you eat so much that your hands get fat?

The scale is as follows:

Normal person: Single fare
Pregnant person: Single fare
Fat person: Double fare
Fat person in summer: Triple fare

I think we can all agree on this.

What's a normal person? I'm a big guy, but not what anyone would consider fat. Should a petite person only pay half a fare?

ETA: And what about midgets and dwarves?

EATA: And amputees?
