...and the bartender says: “We don’t serve your type here”
Hello forum friends. I'm in the process of putting together a work-related design project. It's something I want to keep under the big-wig radar for now, before the big reveal so I'm doing most of the graft at home.
I need a range of professional quality fonts to draft some ideas, but I can't afford to splash out £30+ on each. I've downloaded a couple of huge font packs (10,000 Amazing Fonts L0L!!!!!) from the public torrent sites, but as expected these are all novelty crap which have clearly been designed by amateurs.
Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of some properly hinted, professional fonts, for evaluation purposes? When a final design is chosen, the included font will be purchased.
These are a few of the specific fonts I'm looking for:
Is there such a thing as a graphic design related torrent site? I know you always find the best goodies on private trackers, I just don't know where to look for this sort of stuff.

There are sites to get good fonts from but they are pretty much all invite only sites and hard to get an invite for unless you've been torrenting for a while and have a great share ratio withing one or other community..

I sometimes need different fonts for my work and I search for them on FontShop and buy the one(s) I like. They're not too expensive and you can browse as much as you like.
