I became very confused by all of the 'Bandy World Cup' pictures and had to wiki it. Apparently it's like ice hockey, but with a ball instead of a puck. Alternatively it's like field hockey, but played on ice instead of grass.

ps for the three of you who remember who alan delve was, im glad to update you as to his current doings: hes now working for the engineering education scheme in wales. i wonder if when he goes on holiday his email account is hijacked by a bored temp whi uses it to email her mates about competitive gymnastics, that evening's projected drunken tomfoolery and internet board wars.
