yeh so, you know, my heart's not really in this any more, and I know that nobody else gives a fuck what I've been listening to, but whatever. So, on top this week is the soundtrack to Phoenix Wright. It's a good selection of tunes, and has got a fair bit of offline play as well. HOLD IT!* Before you ask, that's the original music, as recorded straight from the source, rather than the orchestrated version that was recently released in Japan. Still, I've got no 'objections'* to either version
Ehm, right, Labradford and Pan American are pretty similar, because a dude from the former is the main man of the latter. Post-rock type stuff from Labradford (think; explosions in the sky), with Pan American taking a slightly more ambient approach to the same kind of material. Good stuff.
Nothing else of note, I would think.
* - bit of phoenix wright humour there.

I had a little listen to that Pan American fella, quite liked it, very *makes quote marks with fingers* film soundtrack. May have a little search for it later.
Aaaanyhow here's my contribution. You do kind of feel like you're talking to yourself (how is this different to any other post? - ed) when you do this but whatever.
Well I think I've talked about everything under No.1 so basically this week it's all about No. 1 - Enter Shikari. Heard them on the tail end of a car journey after much hype and hyperbole from Zane Lowe (-10 points - ed) . Sounded kind of interesting, mixing RRROCK and acid influences and, there's no denying it, they do have a cool name (WTF! - ed) . Basically they are pretty fucking loud, young sounding and pretty new. It's ok but it may not be your taste. (duh! - ed) They didn't quite live up to Zanes' sycophantic outpourings, but yeh kinda exciting. They got a Myspace (good, always mention myspace +10 points - ed) obviously so have a listen if you want. (peeters out a bit at the end - ed)

it helps to have a download manager for when you come to do downloads, but other than that, it's simple, cheap, and it's a got a suprisingly comprehensive catalogue.
