yeh so, you know, my heart's not really in this any more, and I know that nobody else gives a fuck what I've been listening to, but whatever. So, on top this week is the soundtrack to Phoenix Wright. It's a good selection of tunes, and has got a fair bit of offline play as well. HOLD IT!* Before you ask, that's the original music, as recorded straight from the source, rather than the orchestrated version that was recently released in Japan. Still, I've got no 'objections'* to either version [Smile]

Ehm, right, Labradford and Pan American are pretty similar, because a dude from the former is the main man of the latter. Post-rock type stuff from Labradford (think; explosions in the sky), with Pan American taking a slightly more ambient approach to the same kind of material. Good stuff.

Nothing else of note, I would think.

* - bit of phoenix wright humour there.

I had a little listen to that Pan American fella, quite liked it, very *makes quote marks with fingers* film soundtrack. May have a little search for it later.

Aaaanyhow here's my contribution. You do kind of feel like you're talking to yourself (how is this different to any other post? - ed) when you do this but whatever.

Well I think I've talked about everything under No.1 so basically this week it's all about No. 1 - Enter Shikari. Heard them on the tail end of a car journey after much hype and hyperbole from Zane Lowe (-10 points - ed) . Sounded kind of interesting, mixing RRROCK and acid influences and, there's no denying it, they do have a cool name (WTF! - ed) . Basically they are pretty fucking loud, young sounding and pretty new. It's ok but it may not be your taste. (duh! - ed) They didn't quite live up to Zanes' sycophantic outpourings, but yeh kinda exciting. They got a Myspace (good, always mention myspace +10 points - ed) obviously so have a listen if you want. (peeters out a bit at the end - ed)

I got a death from above 1979 album, but have yet to make it all the way through one song.

This week I'm going to be checking out Bandy(The Kid America Club) Because I think they're quite like Plastic Little, who I like.

secret tip: mp3stor.com. I've spent about $50 there, and had no problems.

You may find that some of the remixes suit your ears better.

Black History Month (Girl On Girl Revision featuring Final Fantasy)

Black History Month (Alan Braxe and Fred Falke remix)

Romantic Rights (Jesper Dahlback Remix)

Thank Me With Your Hands (Panthers Remix)

Are all quite good IMHO.

it helps to have a download manager for when you come to do downloads, but other than that, it's simple, cheap, and it's a got a suprisingly comprehensive catalogue.

Felix tried to convince me to go to Berlin to the Enter Shikari after show party but I turned it down because I'm a joyless **** , not...

That said, their performance is damn impressive. Giving everyone a mini laser is a stroke of lighting genius.

its really sad that theyre on MTV now...i liked having them as my favorite band and people would ask me what enter shikari was...and now everyone's gonna end up thinking theyre great, then a fucking week later, the kids that think theyre all 'cool' and shit are gonna be hating ES cause theyre "whiny girly emo bitches". its real sad
