Do you think they fell down to the floor dead or when they were shot do you think they clutched their chests, staggered theatrically from one foot to the next, clutched a hand out in the air sharply and then fell into a vat of custard?

"The killings had nothing to do with the show the victims were performing at the time of the incident," Henao said in a telephone interview. "We are investigating the motive."

They were clowns. What more motive could you possibly need? Evil fuckers.

Good. I fucking hate clowns.

When I was a childe I went to some classmate's birthday party a clown turned up, hopped about and made some pretty awful creatures out of balloons. Everyone else was laughing, but I couldn't see anything funny in it. A 'dog' with no head, five legs and long penis - how could that kind of shit be in any way funny?

And then came Pennywise.

When I was a kid, a clown did that thing of 'finding' a sweet behind my ear. My parents made me eat it, but I was crying at the time because I didn't want to eat anything which had been stuck behind my ear for an unknown amount of time.

I would fucking love to open fire on a room full of clowns, with an M2 Browning machine gun. It would be hilarious. The thought of carrying this out is making me grin like a wanking Jap.

Nah. Shooting them would be far too messy. I'd rather put them all in a soundproof gas chamber - out of sight, out of mind.

One could then say that they were the dying on the inside types.

I think if there was a test to measure humour Norton, you'd have failed long ago. A balloon dog with a large penis is the funniest thing in the world.

Poor clowns. They're so needlessly maligned. They need to be effectively rehabilitated into normal society. A 12 step programme including renouncing custard should do it. And a law preventing them from driving mechanically unsound cars, so there's less chance of all four of their wheels falling off simultaneously.

I would explain why I asked the question but I have just realised it would make me sound much weirder than I want to admit to being.

Just that apparently there's a lot of porn on the internet and if one wanted to one could easily come across a picture of a happy wanking Jap.

Well, I was trying to imply he'd visited such sites.

I guess my idea of funny is either not funny or I'm pants at expressing it.

That sounded a bit like self-pity, didn't it? S'not. It's bemusement.

I appreciate you saying what you did back then but I also got into an introspective thing about tmo in general which was out of line so I had to delete it.

It's a funny place, tmo: you can get slashed with an almost casual cruelty for saying something genuine but naive? sentimental? so I like that you don't mind speaking straight. I don't mean you did that to me btw, I'm just saying.

As to my persona, I don't see myself as others see me too well, in rl or on-board. I like it here but perhaps I too will end up on mock turtle because I don't fit the mould? [Wink] So far I'm happy to roll with the punches and see if my persona catches up with my perceptions of myself because I'm really having a good time and enjoying the company.

I am very tired though and that means I'm about to stop making sense; indeed, if I ever made sense in the first place, so I'm off for a few hours kip.

Well, when I get this tired, that's the point; I can't judge. Best to get off. I've only been on the steroids three days and I'm still not breathing well. Yesterday I felt better.

You see! I'm tired. I've just looked back and it wasn't because I was being sentimental, it was because I said "...better than not." Only I didn't get it, right, and no-one explained until not put up his winky and I still didn't get it until just now and that is because I am too tired and I want to go back and wipe 'em all because I have made myself look a plonker which I am probably am.

not put up his winky!

See? I am too tired to make sense and I am sorry not for being so thick and I am definitely going now.

This'll have helped create a strong persona, eh? [Frown]

Don't worry sam, I like you, I think your persona is quite unique, friendly and funny (sometimes unintentionally perhaps). Also when you do contribute I can see you put a fair degree of effort into replying to people and responding to the thread topic which most other posters (myself included) are too lazy to do and would rather post a crap one liner.

It's hard sometimes to tell when someone's joking/serious on a message board and sometimes people (me) can seem to be cruel when in fact they (me) were trying (failing) to be hilarious.

Get some sleep and get those manky lungs of yours fixed up and come back and contribute. But remember to take everything on here with a pinch of salt.

Most importantly don't leave. Your contribution is valued.

No winky.
