So who is still using Windows 95 on their computer? Given that some guys on here have been using the internet for over ten years there might be a few. After all many people can't see the point in paying to upgrade to a new version of Windows every couple of years when the benefits from doing so are so small.

Not many people bother to upgrade the version of Windows on their computer - as you say there aren't many reasons to - but I reckon most people buy a new PC every 3-5 years, which comes with the latest version of the OS.
The next version of Windows (7) is said to be much lighter than Vista and will run on older, lower-spec hardware. I'm quite keen to replace Vista with 7 on my main PC, but I'm quite happy to stick with good old XP on my other PCs.

Personally I think Linux must be the best operating system as it is more secure than Windows is free and is lighter taking up less hard disk space.

Apparently Windows 7 will run Crysis even if you don't have a graphics card, which is some pretty impressive coding. Obviously it won't run it as well as if you have a top of the range graphics card in there, but it's a good start.

That's all well and good but without a graphics card there'll be nowhere to plug in a monitor. I reckon that might diminish the gaming experience somewhat.

it'll run it at about five frames per second. For a more fluid and immersive experience you could ask somebody with a decent graphics card to run the game, take a screenshot once a day, print it off, and send it in the post.

And cats can't use windows 3.1. Or any computer for that matter. They eat mice, you see. Can't work the things without mice. As a result dogs destroy cat sin the year 2067 when a miniature Schnauzer called Bertie finally masters Linux. Dogs win. Sorry ralph.

I'm only really down on cats because ours is always on my bed so I've had to stop wanking during the day. Those disapproving green eyes are like a bucket of cold water between the legs.

You've got to work through that stage. Eventually you'll get to where I am now: The cat has to be in the room and looking directly at me otherwise I can't achieve ejaculatation.
