What's on your Christmas List this year?

...aside from the obvious Wii, that is. Something generic like a DVD box set, or an obscure artifact, imported from Japan, which will provide you with dinner party conversations for the next twelve months?

socks, pants. A diary that I'll never use. A gentle weekend long bollocking and character assasination from my parents.

I guess I'd like a day that didn't involve a horrendous hangover followed by spirit pulverising boredom.

While I think avoidance of the former is unlikely, my lovely 5 year old nephew is getting to the age where we will be able to argue over video games for most of the day, which should at least keep the latter at bay. Woot.

usually i average about four games of conkers a year, in case youre wondering. you know what its like; almost crippling burst of enthusiasm around the collecting stage, followed by an afternoon of doing nothing but eating jaffa ckaes and arranging your conkers in order of size and/ or shininess on a special shelf; by the time you actually get to the part where you are supposed to play the game your zest for the whole enterprise has dissipated somewhat.

I feel the same way about conkers as Mart feels about videogames.

Besides, all the shops are full of Christmas presents and decorations, dm. It is officially The Run-Up To Xmas. Now calm yourself with a soothing glass of egg nog.
