This is going to be like Roygate all over again, isn't it? It'll turn out Mikee was being honest and I'm mocking his pain.

Yeah but you're talking about Fight Club, Darryn; Boy Rape Club is harder to forgive. I can't forgive NWOD for being raped. I'm sorry, he has to go too.

I can't believe he's taken so long to bring it up, to be honest. I mean, you don't just hang with an online community without telling them something like that pretty early on, do you? I remember in the good old days, when netiquette actually fucking meant something, people were forever introducing themselves to the forum and (with their second post, mind) revealing something dark, disturbing and personal about themselves: I have GAIDS, I committed suicide twice last week and I'll do it again, I work for Price Waterhouse & Cooper...etc. New Way of Decay has had numerous opportunities during his lengthy posting career to reveal that he was raped as a boy. Who knows what effect this sustained exposure to him will have on the rest of us.

shut up about PricewaterhouseCoopers can you believe that I'm back here, after five years of temping about? Five years, man. And I'm back where I started, only earning less.

Femke used to work for PWC too, she fucking hated it.
I have an interview at Unisys, how much does that suck, all these applications, all this job hunting and they want to interview me for 'Mentor' at Unisys, where's the good job I thought I'd have by now ?
Still, it might tide me over till the hotel takes off..
Benway, why not ask PWC for a transfer to Holland ? We could have lunch, the office is only a few hundred yard from the house.

Ages and ages ago, some prick on teh boards, pretending to be all successful, saying he worked for PWC, and we pointed out it was PwC and he said we were full of shit when clearly he was. Who was that?
Benway, how do you get a job at Ernst & Young or PwC or whatever? Can you progress from temp to proper (not you yourself personally obviously) there, or do you have to do those intern scheme things it's impossible to get on?

depends if you want to be an accountant, vikram.
if you do, they usually take on a whole bunch of graduates to start late august/early september each year - they occasionally start someone at other times but the vast majority are then as it fits in with the professional exam schedule.
if you want to do something other than audit the approach might be a bit different but they don't take on many people in the slightly more sexy (who am i trying to kid, this is accountancy after all) areas like corporate finance or transaction services (think Capital City)
i suspect that you don't want to be an accountant, though.

I went perm at EY for a year or so, and then events took... an unusual course. I reckon I could probably go perm here if I hung around, but you know.
