We disagree about a lot of things. TMO thrives on its members' differing opinions. But are there any universal truths which TMO as a whole (or at least whoever is posting today) can agree on?
Propose a statement on which you think we can all agree. If any among us do not agree, then of course they must make their voice heard.

H-hardly. The only time I ever hear their name mentioned is when people are slagging them off. Even people you know as hopelessly lame have caught hold of the "trash Coldplay to establish your rad credentials" meme. It's like: shit like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are at least as fucking lame and wanky but those cockscabs don't come in for half the grief that Coldplay do.
So: DISAGREE.

This is a terrible comparison. For example: Flea can backflip whilst playing what is known as legendary slapbass. That sounds like something a music fan would daydream about. That they would desire from a Fantasy Band League. It's the stuff of fucking magic. just because everything after Californication was drab, doesn't mean that they weren't absoloutely fucking amazing at the point they released 'Warped'
