They won't go away. They were there when I was born, and they're still filling fucking beaches in Brazil 40 years later. I fully expect them to be playing somewhere or other as I'm being shovelled into the cold ground.

Please note, for accuracy of conception hit, gestation is not in fact nine months but 40 weeks, which is nearer 10 months.

This was number 1 from 29 May - 25 June 1964, which completely covers my window of conception. I imagine a lot of people took to their beds during those long dark weeks. It was then replaced by Roy Orbison's It's Over.

Out of interest, has anyone here actually found their libido to be influenced by a chart record or other aspect of popular culture? I mean in a positive way, that is.
