You know when you put something out in public on the web - maybe a story, or a funny Photoshopped picture, or just a forum post - and then people you know read it and you think... yeah, public, but not for people I might actually meet?
What's that called?
It's like the opposite of private, but also selectively public.
Anonymous, I suppose would be the word, but you might not want to actually be anonymous. It might be something really good which you want people to recognise you for, but which you don't want people you actually know to look at.
There should be a button on the internet which says, "Only show to not my friends."
This hasn't actually happened to me, it's just that it could do and I think there should be a word for it, and a button.
