When the whole Caitlyn Jenner thing happened I had absolutely no idea why this person was getting so much airtime or was considered such a hero - took me ages to cotton to the fact she was part of the Kardashian clan.

I don't really understand why the Kardashian-Jenners were picked to be the subject of a reality tv thing anyway. But then much of what happens in America is baffling to me.
