Slightly unsettling news from Kim Jong Il's gang. What - if anything - to be done about it? Most nations seem to be finger wagging and shouting "Stop it!" but N.Korea clearly doesn't seem to be deterred. Or maybe they love the attention. Is this going to be the start of the next world war? Is North Korea going to invade Japan? Does anyone here even care?

I don't think it's anything more than chest puffing on the part of Kim Jong, I can't see what he could expect to achieve from this exercise other than a bit of press to boost his ego and make him still feel dangerous and a little bit 'woo'.
He's got some serious Daddy issues that man..

Couldn't they have made that extra effort to reach Australia?

I think that North Korea's limited funds could be put to more effective use. This appears - as Darryn quite rightly describes - to be a case of Kim Jong shouting, 'Oy! You keep forgetting about us! We've got these beauts! We'll use them if we need to at some point in the future! Don't you ever forget it!'
The whole spectacle did my gold investments no harm though.

Fortunately these investments stretch beyond my obsession with chav jewellery. They're notoriously difficult instruments to trade. Apart from in pawn shops. Which is equally as humiliating as buying the wretched jewellery in the first place.
