I'm sure I remember Thorn having deepy upsetting thoughts about Kerry Katona. Probably not so much these days.

Probably not the same deeply upsetting thoughts, anyway.

Weird squeaky voice, though?

I absolutely have a crush on Archer, which at least is an upgrade from the main guy in G-Force.

DC Steve Arnott from BBC's Line of Duty.

I'd let him push from the outside while I pushed from the inside, that's for sure. In his trim little waistcoat like.

The hamster movie? Will Arnett? If it's Will Arnett you're referring to then yes. Fuck yes. Fuck. Yes. Yeah.

Anyway, I was going to say Taika Waititi but you've distracted me with Will Arnett.

Taika Waititi. Is my answer. (Also Will Arnett.)

Posted by Octavia (Member # 398) on :

Nope. Sterling Archer, voiced by H Jon Benjamin. Who himself is nothing to get chairy about. But his voice. Oh that voice. Coupled with Archer's cheekbones. Hallelujah glory be.

But also yes to Taika Waititi. And also Joss Whedon, because I reckon I could totally pull him.

Posted by Damon's Off (Member # 3) on :

Eww Joss Whedon, no. Archer could get it, though, he's mighty fine. Also, Pam seems adventurous, I'd give that a go.

Posted by MiscellaneousFiles (Member # 60) on :

Pam and/or Cheryl/Carol.

Posted by Thorn Davis (Member # 65) on :

I've had a ridiculous crush on Taika Waititi since seeing What We Do in The Shadows, and it's not been alleviated by watching interviews about Thor:Ragnarok.

Also agree on Pam and Cheryl. Also Chloe Bennet from Agents of Shield. Those black tank tops. Sweet Jesus. Also Rebecca Ferguson because of her frankly astonishing shoulders in MI:5. She looks like she could wrestle you to the ground and break your bones. Also, Gina Carano in Deadpool, who looks like she could crush your head like a watermelon. Incredible.

Sue Perkins. The little quiff, the funny, the sheer humanity that caused her to treat Giles Coren like a human being during Eat Like An Egyptian or whatever it was called.

Actually, probably Giles Coren too, as long as he didn't talk.

Ball-gag for Coren. Got it.

Also: Victoria Coren.

Also, posting about power metal reminded me that the lead singer for Battle Beast should be on my list for this thread.

It's very weird not being able to like posts.

And the fact she is married to David Mitchell gives us an insight that we might have a shot as middle-aged, portly farts that we have become.

Tenuous reference - Dobby from Peep show

Look at the beloved, witty wordsmith. He can't even be fucked to shave or do his hair at his own wedding. I think my chat up line would be "Come on Vicky, love. I own a Mach 3 and a flick-comb, get onboard*

Didn't know there was a Dobby in that - still haven't read any of the books or seen the films. Is she hot?

Look at her face. She knows she's settled.

I'm not sure if this actually counts as obscure but I'm a little bit in love with Phoebe Waller-Bridge of Fleabag fame.

Aida Folch.

Obscure, unless you watch Spanish dramas on BBC4. Which would still render her obscure.

I've been reminded today by seeing someone who looks a bit like them of someone slightly beardy and obscure that I rather like but whose name I've never known. So if people could track down marginally hirsute character actors in their early 30s who've been in something I might have seen recently, that'd be great, thanks. Then I can stalk them on Twitter.

What colour of beardy are we talking? I'm a fan of ginger and beardy, the sherif from Fortitude, the big ginger wildling in GoT, the bloke who played Capt Flint in Black Sails...

Ginger Wildling is only hott as Ginger Wildling, though. Without the beard his face is really square and weird and his eyes look tiny.

God this old UBB is fucking frustrating

Ben Foster?

It occurred to me today that Lena Headey, smiling looks like someone who Raz has turned the mouth upside down on.

Underarm hair. Nobody needs to see that shit.

Conceivably, though I think the person was chubbier. I might actually just be thinking of Parks & Rec -era Chris Pratt, tbh.

I had a crush on Jodie Foster for a long time (Bugsy Malone, not Taxi Driver) and then I had one on Ellen Page, so I guess I like chinny gay women?

Others include Madchin Amick in Twin Peaks and Princess Aura in Flash Gordon.

Oh, and when I was a kid I saw Postman Always Rings Twice and fell in love with Jessica Lange.

I also got a slight chub on when I saw Tim Curry's nipple in Rock Horror when I was a kid, and felt confused.

And then there will always be Milana Vayntrub, famous in the US as being the AT&T girl - she's so damn yummy

Oh and Adčle Exarchopoulos. If you come across a film on Netflix called Blue is the Warmest Colour you can see and awful lot more of her (and Léa Seydoux - known for playing Charlotte LaPadite in Inglorious Bastards). Probably not a good idea to watch with the kids in the room though #CrikeyTheyArentFakingThat

She does a tad for sure, although she's quite a lot older than Mathilda (23 versus 12)

She's in a biopic of Olga Hepnarová (from which the shot is taken) who suffered with some sever psychiatric problems although was high functioning - she was a truck driver and mowed down 25 people in Prague in the early 70's and was hanged. It's quite an intense film and although what she did was heinous, I couldn't help but feeling a lot of sympathy the character and her struggles. It's on Netflix here in the US (I, Olga Hepnarová it is called) - maybe also over there?

Honestly I can't see the attraction here. Though the camera lens seems to have distorted oddly at the bottom.
