I'm in town and up for this if it's all still going ahead. I would hate to think of my boobs being taken in vain. Or something.

Plus I would very much like to see preggers London and DD, who I was thinking about the other day in relation to the words 'red shoes, no knickers'. bradley's at 6.30? London, can we persuade ubertrick down? x

Linus was the insecure little boy that had to have a blankie... Your reference to the ball is Charlie Brown.

If you are going to make an analogy, at least make it accurate!

Sheesh!

After the Hoyle debacle you'd think doc d would have learnt his lesson, rather than stranding himself in another cultural ditch.

because he never got to kick the ball either ralph.
do you see how that works now?

the easy thing was there to kick, you went to kick it, it moved.

it's not that funny. but it works in much the same way as charlie brown doesn't get to kick the ball.

Charlie Brown is shit. It's always been shit. How the fuck did it ever get to be so popular? It's absolute, undiluted, unmitigated shit.

Probably to do with its unthreatening, melancholic view of childhood, coupled with some easliy identifiable visual tropes and an idiosyncratic style. Couple that with its banal universiality and very broad characters it's obviously going to go off like a rocket. I'm suprised you had to ask. What, are you thick or something?

It is kind of shit, even though I always had a soft spot for woodstock. I'm trying to find evidence of his awesomeness, but it appears to be in short supply. I did enjoy him calling Snoopy 'Banana Nose' though.

Also - I'm assuming a lot of you have seen this short story but it is making me giggle, mostly because it sounds very much like TMO.
