Talking of the internet remember when Yahoo was the top internet portal. It was one of the first search engines and web portals dating back to 1994 soon after the World Wide Web began.
Yahoo had and still has groups on it you could join too where you could discuss things. As well as hosting chatrooms. Over the years it has fallen behind social networking sites like Myspace and now Facebook.

Talking about dating sites do you remember there used to be this system of telephone dating in bars where they would put phones on every table so if you fancied someone you could just ring their table and ask them over to yours, but it was always too loud to hear what they were saying and you ended up just yelling 'what' into the mouthpiece for the entire evening before sulking down into your drink and sulking out the door alone a few hours later as everyone laughed at you.

I remember seeing that on TV shows and movies in the 1980s. I never actually saw them in Canada in real life. Your version sounds hilarious! On TV they were always hugely successful.

By the way internet dating is crap, well for guys it is as there are usually about four guys on every dating site for one woman!
It is better to get a womans email addres when you meet them to stay in touch. I have found that women are not as fussy about giving you their email address as giving you their phone number.

The PUA scene is still OK though it seems to be centred mostly on London in the UK, as that is where the most active PUA forum is. There are lots of smaller PUA groups across the country. The next biggest is the Scotland lair which has got a lively forum here: http://www.scotland-lair.co.uk/forum/index.php
But other groups in the UK seem very small.
