about the Flora things,
quote:
The Blood Pressure Association welcomes the product with caution. Graham MacGregor, professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at St George’s Hospital, London, says on behalf of the association: “Ameal Peptide is based on a similar dairy peptide used in a fermented milk drink in Japan. There have been a number of studies in Japan that show that this type of dairy peptide can help to lower blood pressure. However, studies undertaken in European people do not show the same results, and any blood pressure lowering effect is reduced.

“The research under-taken so far shows only a very small lowering of blood pressure, which may not be consistent or long term.”

Another detractor for the product is its high sugar content: 12.3g, the equivalent of two teaspoons.

This is my Doc, I trust him, so I wont be buying them!

I yam hoping to have a bit of a monster weekend. In reality it will probably all end in a messy hangover with me realising that my friends, whilst being much the same age, all seem to be much older.

Friday:
Quiet meal with Nurse When (she's going to suprise me, and take me somewhere posh - not sure where...)

Saturday (My Birthday!):
The Diamond Rendezvous burlesque night (in shiny Birmingham), in Victorian style, followed by after-show party at Red Bar and possible late clubbing down at the Custard Factory.

In the area? Come along and help me celebrate my slow decline into middle age.

Sunday:
The Candybox Burlesque night (also Birmingham). Possibly wearing my new Pimp Coat (full length white fur coat bought from eBay for about £40! Yay!)

Monday:
Day off work to recover.

I can't find a job. I really can't do anything useful, unless I want a lifetime of admin. What's a lifetime of admin worth? I'm now out of work. I am going to drink myself to death.

In reality, I'll just shuffle to a temp agency and work for the man.

Good try Benway. Start collecting those rejection emails. You can wipe your arse with them when you have huge success.

You'll have to print them off first, though.

Assuming you got that new printer, of course.

yeah, I got it, but it's not really much use, seeing as all job business is done over the net. It was more of a talisman, an unrelated item that I needed to have at my feet to gain strength. I'm applying for jobs big time now.

So hey, what's everyone doing this weekend then?

Tonight: get mildly drunk

Tomorrow morning: get handsomely drunk (also: shopping)

Tomorrow night: Get utterly munted with housemate plus lots of other people. houseparty sort of thing.

Sunday morning: Hangover, sadness, regret [Frown] probably cry a bit. Maybe while eating toast from the toaster whcih is still sitting unused on the worktop. All 3 housemates have eyed it suspiciously since it arrived last weekend but as yet nobody has actually used it. Possibly because the only bread we've had in the house for several days is a single crust and everyone's far too polite to actually eat it.

Sunday night: command and conquer/quake 4. Might go to my parents' house for some roast dins. Might also take dirty pants and ask Mum to wash them.

I've got this 'lving away from home' thing well licked.

Don't take it personally - if I'd said 'yes' to this then my girlfriend would have hammered a ten inch nail into my head. One time, after a couple of drinks, she actually showed me the nail she was going to use, and the hammer.

Ringo - you're not "Living away from home". You're living at home. You're living away from your parents' home.

This weekend. Tonight I'm going to be having a curry with VP, unless she stands me up and goes on a date with her new friend [Mad] who, it transpires can't even fucking read. I hate that c**t. I haven't met him yet, but I hate him. Anyway, so either curry and Team America with VP, or she goes out and I sit at home in the dark with a knife waiting for them to come home.

Tomorrow, friend's birthday party. Don't really want to go, but it's in my living room. May spend the evening locked in my bedroom playign computer games, and then insist they turn the music off at 11 o'clock.

Sunday. No plans for Sunday probably sit and stare at something for a few hours and then go back to bed.

Sloppy? Sloppy??

My dear man, by sheer virtue of the statement above, clearly you are not sloppy! Sitting at home, knife in hand, waiting for philaderous lady and her lackey, even having the foresight to turn off the light and pretend nobody's home is the very essence of on-the-ball-ness!

Now, sloppy would have been if you'd sat watching telly and picking your nose (or your bum), thinking about football and breasts until said philanderous lady and her lackey turn up, then spontaneously getting irritated at their piss-drunk laughiness, jumping up and down shouting and wetting yourself in annoyance, but having no weapon to hand.

Now, that's sloppy.

This weekend - continue sobriety (10 days now without nicotine, alcohol, caffeine and only miniscule amounts of red meat) - Have to work Sunday from home, but this should mean next weeks 40 hours will actually be 10 hours and all from home.

So Saturday looks like clean the house, try and purchase mudguard for bicycle, work out some and try and reduce my moobs and gut. Tonight - not much, Sunday not much either - I might cook for a change.

Wow what an utterly thrilling person I have become.

I can match that Waynster:

Friday night: Prepare kitchen walls

Saturday: Undercoat kitchen walls

Sunday: Paint kitchen walls.

Tonight: couldn't be fucked to shave my legs this morning, so think it will be curry and Team America/South Park with flatmate.

Tomorrow: BIRTHDAY! Pub lunch with mates, whilst watching The Mighty Reds continue their brilliant recent run of form. Then, party back at the flat- a Proper Party, with balloons, party games, jelly and ice cream, pink wafers and chocolate fingers and goody bags for well-behaved guests.

Sunday: most ambitious plan is pub lunch up in t'Village.

What I object to is the colour of some of these wheelie bins and where they are left, in some areas outside all week in the front garden.

Prove it. When I was 15 I had a persistent, scabby dark pink rash on my balls and cock. What lotion did you apply that finally cleared the problem up?
