They've already been number one over here Amy, like 100 weeks at the top of the charts with CRAZY..

I've got the album, it's pretty damn fine too.

If you on the other side of the pond (or a few on this side) want this summers top album then you need to get a copy of the Lily Allen album (myspace link) called Alright Still.

OK, so it's really LDN and pretty damn Anglocentric, but the girl rocks.

Though as I'm sure Waynster will back me up, the new Divine Comedy album - Victory For The Comic Muse is a thing of sheer beauty, and if it were a girl I'd marry it.

my mate is organising a posse to see the divine comedy in bristol in september, coincidentally on the only night that i already have something organised for. so, darryn, should i blow off the touring production of beauty and the beast in favour of the dc? it's a bit of a no-brainer really.

So, me and the husband are a bit slow. [Wink]

He's been playing Transformer all the time...which in turn has me playing it all the time...

I'm trying to make a playlist for my nano...it's hard picking and choosing...sigh

Will check out the link and bands and stuffs.

Thanx. [Smile]

For me, there is no choice, go see Neil Hannon fronting a band that skimps not on the symphonics, including as it does a thirteen-piece string section, harp, French Horn, and oboe – not to mention a certain Dougie Payne of Travis on bass.

It's a beautiful album and from what I caught of the D.C on the new late night Channel 4 abortion of a music show T-Mobile's Transmission they're in top form with Mr. Hannon penning and crooning some of his best work to date.

I couldn't actually name one single Divine Comedy track mate, but I'll back you up if you buy me a beer or something...

Actually I mean't that you'd back me up on how much I keep banging on about how good it is, it's not your taste in music I know, still i had some guy in the Bulldog banging on at me about some festival this weekend that sounded right up your alley, don't remember what it was called though...
