It does look remarkably like that, actually.
But I will say: To SilverGinger5's grandparents: Congratulations, you made the right decision. To Thorn's mum and the **** whose postal I signed: Ahahhahaaaa a a haha. Maybe next time. Probably next time.

I wish I was cherie, she's going to get a right rodgering this morning. Lib dems made big gains in my constituency so looks like not the idiot that let the conservatives in!

Yes, I did. The percentage increase for the lib dems was higher than that of the conservatives, and yet they managed to nose in with a fairly marginal majority of just 1500 odd in MK North. Unfortunately MK South is still labour and as such, still under Phyllis Starkey, who seems hell bent on approving any plans put forward by English Partnerships to turn MK (city of the future) into a vast sprawling housing estate.

New plans seem to be doing away with the modern grid road system, and expansion plans feature more of a conventional 'traffic jam and congestion' type road layout.
Perhaps if you'd paid a little more attention in your Geography classes you might have understood why exactly you were looking at Milton Keynes at all.

Hmm... I seem to remember we had to count the number and age of the cars on peoples' driveways. I think we had to assess which of the four "zones" we visited was the most affluent.
The highlight of the trip was when the teacher read the class clown's form out loud on the coach home:

Wahey, my pc is back after mouth to mouth that took three days.
I feel a bit bad about the Tories getting in in Wimbledon. But not as bad as voting for Labour and having to have a barcode across my forehead by the next election.

Argh, I just checked, and for our current postcode, 770 voted UKIP and 324 voted Veritas! That's over a thousand fascists down our road! West Croydon is an odd place to choose to live if you don't like poor or brown people.

Nice work, Roy - I would have contributed, but I was away at a wedding from Thursday lunchtime.
Anyway, I'm fairly pleased with how things panned out: even though all the Lib Dem campaign literature informed us that 'a vote for Labour is a wasted vote' in my constituency, I went ahead and helped increase the Labour share in Harrogate by just over 1% while the Lib Dem share went up by only 0.7% (Tory share dropped by 2.7%).
The reduced Labour majority nationally keeps Bear in power while depriving him of the ability to do stupid shit (ie. ID cards) and the highest-profile anti-war/anti-Bear candidate is a bellowing, vanity-drunk thug. Posts: 8657
