Nah, as ralph and SG5 confirm that's unfortunately just not how he works. He burned through about four ID's in a couple of days on TCL once because we'd ban one and he'd post normally with one of his spares for a while before gradually losing it and returning to his original grudge with renewed and equally tiresome fervour. We continue to ban him (he registers new ID's constantly) just for the sake of a bit of peace more than anything else because he'll just continue to derail threads, like this one for instance, with his own agenda. And I realise I'm currently hypocritically contributing to this hijack of VP's thread as I type this so apologies for that.

No offence to TCL but it's a really small, quiet board and they all just seem to be friends shooting the shit on there. I can't imagine why anyone would feel a great hostility towards it. That would be like a 6th form common room in Tonbridge somehow generating a nationwide network of enemies.
Anyway, it seems to me that everyone on there, with perhaps a few exceptions, has posted regularly somewhere else -- Louche, Bamba, Philomel, Space Cowboy, Angel, Chocolatebuns, Ralph. It's not like their identity is bound up in that one board.
I don't get it. TCL has always seemed pretty innocuous to me. Anyway sorry for talking about otherboard politics on TMO.

Just for clarity I do not have a problem with ALL members at TCL...although I do view them as 'apologists', and I'd rather some had the balls to stand up to their 'friends'...but that's another story.
A number of the names you list are from a group of friends who since the discussion board 'big bang', have revelled in others misfortune, ripped the piss out of some people who have problems in their life, regularly linked to other boards to rip the piss both from the other boards & the membership. They have themselves constantly 'picked at' individuals without giving a flying fuck as to the result.
In fact, on the board where Bambi started to rip the piss this week, another TCL member admitted that these things had happened, but said people had moved on. I object to people with this attitude inferring that they have moved on, when clearly Bambi shows 'they' have not, and I resent even more it being inferred others should move on...especially when this shitty behaviour was iniated by TCL members to start with.
People will move on when they want to, not when some twat at TCL dictates. And if they wish to truly move on then maybe they could advise, if they have the balls, some of their friends to curb their bitchiness...if not, they can hardly label me as they do, or complain about the fallout.
So yes. It is like a 6th Form common room, in a public school in Tonbridge...the problem is that they are reaching a wider fucking audience than just Tonbridge. Personally I really wish they were locked in a common room with a ZX81, just so the rest of us adults can stop having to stoop to their level and enjoy the inter web without them behaving like fucking pricks.
