When he's not organizing massive *birthday parties in his country's stadia and appearing as himself in films such as Team America, Kim Jong-Il enjoys messing about with *weapons... and this time, they're nucular!

I'll bet the Taleban and Al Qaeda will be pissed off now as Dubya has a new country to bomb the fuck out of. I bet he is masterbating with glee this morning at yet another turn in his favour of a new world order.

I am just worried my mam will worry you know.
Nobody seems to give a shit here to be honest. I think some of the Canadian teachers might bottle it a bit but that is probably the French in them eh?
Course, the currency has dive bombed which is a bit wank and long term it could be bad shit in Asia Pacific if the Japanese get all warry again. The Chinese could probably sort it all if they wanted to though.
Still, you get lovely habanero flavour crisps here and what with all the cabbage I could probably produce something seismic myself later.

It was good to see that the sun took it seriously - the other headlines showing a sizmic (I've got no idea how to spell that word?) chart with activity at the point when the test was conducted with 'the moment the world shook' type headlines - the sun's headline above was presented with a picture of the pupet from Team America. All it needed was a caption saying something like 'your bleaking my balls blix' and it would have been complete.

Seismic, Benny. God I'm a twat.
This morning I am mostly feeling sorry for that England goalkeeping person. I bet the back pages of the tabloids are eviscerating. If I were him I'd be hiding in a cave in Southern Iraq by now.

This morning I am glad I missed the England game.
Also this morning I am having to Endure 'Fresh FM" which it seems my slightly older than me but secret happy hardcore fan selected. However I am somewhat confused - from Google define:
quote:Fresh: 1. recently made, produced, or harvested 2. original and of a kind not seen before 3. not rotten
Well I guess 1 applies, however 2 is way out. Every damn trippy record is a line ripped out of some number, repeated ad-infinitum with so much chorus and delay applied they hope it will sound new. Each song is practially the same, hardcore 4/4 beat with an overdose of sequencers pumping the same rythmns, and just ripping off an old 90's tune (currently it's the riff from 'The Key' or whatever it was called). And this does not stop all day. 3 is the biggest antithesis of the stations name of the lot.
I mean don't get me wrong, this stuff is fine when you are out clubbing (and if it was half decent mashes and remixes, but this lot ain't), late at night, but not in an office when I am trying to figure out bizarre data conversion errors with 5250 emulators and CICS/SNA/connectivity issues. There is a time and a place and all.

I'm working for a very large bank and they have all these legacy systems running on Mainframes - I'm actually working on iSeries (new name for AS/400's) which is my speciality - the job here is to sit it out until the iSeries boxes get relocated to Katowice in Poland, but before that can be done, they need to port these old SNA systems to IP. Its causing problems. Problems are good - the longer it takes to solve, the longer this lovely contract lasts for me. It was initially until the end of the year, but there are even whispers of beyond August next year, possibly into 2008.
So long live SNA I say!
What did you used to do with stuff like that, S&G?

I was an RPG programmer for a good 7 years but used to get roped into all the other shit to do with making the 400 work. I was not a good programmer. I liked it when things were broken. I didn't care if the system worked or not. The work made me feel ill. So I quit. Changed career and went straight to a company that used 400's so couldn't really escape.
Good machine and that and it sounds like you have landed on your feet but I will be happy if I never see another green screen again.
