On Sunday I have to spend six hours in a car with someone who thinks that the Wombles CD is the apotheosis of music.

Reading this thread is just torture in the light of that.

If TMO was to turn out an album, I would heartily commend the inclusion of most of the above.

I would have to add:

White Riot - The Clash
Too much too young - The Specials
Blitzkrieg Bop - The Ramones
Head Like a Hole - NIN

Not very Indy per se, but I kind of get the feeling with some of the input they could be included in the parameters given.

Head like a hole! I was totally thinking of that but I couldn't remember. Which is rather appropriate really.

Also, The Only Living Boy in New Cross.

What I object to is the colour of some of these wheelie bins and where they are left, in some areas outside all week in the front garden.

Eyy, whereabouts in Norwich? You should arrange a micromeat with erstwhile TMO old-schooler Keef, and occasional TMO contributor Bill Oddie.

Indeed it was.

Only, Cannonball was on the second album.

That's your new-found indie cred straight out the window.
