Around, oooh 18 months ago now, some helpful prankster on here put up instructions on how to do the net send messages through the company network through the Start run box...

Can anyone remember how to do it... I'm bored and want to wind my souless colleagues up a bit.

cheers

NET SEND {name | * | /DOMAIN[:name] | /USERS} message

name Is the username, computername, or messaging name to send the message to. If the name is a computername that contains blank characters, enclose the alias in quotation marks (" ").
* Sends the message to all the names in your group.
/DOMAIN[:name] Sends the message to all the names in the workstation domain. If name is specified, the message is sent to all the names in the specified domain or workgroup.
/USERS Sends the message to all users connected to the server.
message Is text to be sent as a message.

ETA:
START > RUN > TYPE cmd hit ENTER > You are now in DOS

type NET SEND joe hey dick!
(this will make Joe's computer call him a dick assuming Joe's computer is called joe... You understand)

type NET SEND * Yer a dick!
(this calls everyone in your workgroup a dick)

type NET SEND /DOMAIN:dicks You guys are dicks!
(this calls everyone in the domain "dick" a dick)

type NET SEND /USERS You all suck dick...
(this tells every person who is connected through the server a dick, including anyone who may be working from home! Bonus!)
