I think one look at Carrie Fisher and the decision would be made for you really. If it was Claudia Winkelman, however, he'd probably have had Hollywood's most experienced bra engineers working round the clock on something particularly efficient. Perhaps with an extra cup for the face.

Peter Jackson would have had a team of five hundred designers working on the Bra, a workshop especially built for it and an hour long documentary about it to appear in the 'Star Wars Special Edition' DVD

I'm sure there was a thing on BBC2 a couple of years ago where two engineering specialists set out to reinvent the bra and came up with some revolutionary new design which actually went on sale. These B.Eng. types were both fat, ugly and beardy and exactly the sort of fellows I imagine that polite ladies would rather not associate with their chest bubbles in any way or form.

1. Carrie Fisher made up that rule about bras. It is not canon and Lucas never said it.
2. Yes, Mad Magazine doing a "satire" of Episode III as a genuinely good and serious story like the film should have been [assuming the film will be bad] would be so fantastic it'd go down in comix history.
3. Harlequin is sounding a lot like the dude in Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time today.

Howard Hughes had a crack at designing a new bra for Jane Russell to wear in The Outlaw, to support her excellent titties. Apparently it was rubbish though and she reverted to her regular one without telling him.

And I am surrounded by them all day.

Many gentlemens visit my club when have bra-testing night. Why so fascinate with udders ? So much restriction but soso pretty. Men like bra better than bare boosuums no ? If no bras in space, maybe gwylo ladies have to lose some lard. fatslags.

Yes, Raz, it is from one of the interesting emails sent to my boss, which often end with a list of random nouns as though James Joyce was speaking through a medium who had Tourette's and English as their third language.
Also, what is in the Star Wars "canon" and is there a synod who decides on its content?

My understanding re the Fisher/titty conundrum was that she had to have her nipples taped down, as they were threatening to break through the Imperial Star Destroyer's force field on their own. Bras were not mentioned.

I'm trying to see if that Princess L. lego figure is wearing a bra or using tape...

On a related point, there is a seriously deranged but incredibly compelling political argument going on on the Star Wars message boards here at the moment.
quote: Did Palpatine really orchestrate the whole thing or just add feul to an existing fire? The Trade Federation had a big enough beef with the Republic that it would consider blocking/invading a planet. Palpatine had only ONE soldier join their army. He merely influenced the Trade Federation into its protest. How is that evil? The Trade Federation is being treated unfairly and had to take action just like our fore fathers.
And I thought I was a loser!

Ahh, fuck, who's that?

Hello, yeah?
Oh, hello. This is MORI. We're just doing a telephone poll about ID Cards. Would you mind if the government introduced ID Cards?
What? Uh, yeah, no problem. I'm not bothered.
Thank you so much! Bye then!
Yeah, whatever. Politics and shit. I don't do that stuff. Now, where was I?

Believe it or not, it gets much sadder than that on TheForce.net . There is a thread here entitled There is still good in him: Anakin let's Obi-wan and Luke go? which has 4405 replies despite it's poor grammar.
