I know we’ve already established the answer to the question “what colour is octerine?” lies inside us, not on the net, but I'm continuing to google for answers. So far I am particularly pleased to learn that there's a colour calledd Dark Goldenrod. Despite Goldenrod being a small yellow North American plant, it's unlikely to occur naturally on this thread so I thought I'd force it in there, just to add to the general sense of octeriness.

Hmm, I'd forgotten about the literary snobbiness that was oh-so-prone to rearing it's head on these boards. I like Pratchett, it's an easy indulgence, a read in a day, while lying outdoors in the sunshine kind of thing. It's bubblegum for the brain and it's fucking ace.
Octarine. It's bluish purple, innit.

Eta: its not even fans. its just we read him from time to time. Not every pratchett reader is a "fan" we need to demarcate ourselves from the losers who walk around in pratchett hats quoting him.
