I don't think the Google Van has been lucky enough to visit Newbury yet, but *here's where I used to live in London's leafy Muswell Hill.

I'm not a londoner and for some reason Brighton isn't showing on this yet.
However, here is the house I lived in in my second year of Uni. It's the one on the left and when we signed up for it it was all grass out the front and grass out the back and when we moved in the landlord had tarmacced over it all.
It's good. Can't wait for it to have my house so I can link in and people can come and burgle me.

This is the halls of residence I lived in my first year at uni in Glasgow...probably the worst house on one of the best streets in Glasgow, right on the top of a hill.

Those pictures in London were taken on about 26th February, so it's quite quick work to get them all online and sorted.

the ones taken near where I live are from last year I think. There are a few shops in the pictures that are now different shops, ie, they have become internet cafes and members only social clubs, because this is the ultimate fate of all shops on the hornsey road.

I was trying to get a sense of exactly where on the road this was, going by the for sale sign, before I realised that that For Sale sign was outside my house, meaning the pics must be about a year old.

I've just realised I've accidentally linked straight back to Benway's flat. Er. If anyone cares, this is my road, and eerily you can zoom in on my front window and see the red chair I sit on when I'm thinking about stuff.

Casa McDirts on that junction, and you'll notice the sweeeeeeeet silver Peugeot 306 parked to the side of the shop? Yes, it really is mine. Parked in THE primo position for once. Strictly for the HardcorePosts: 979

I've just had the unsettling realisation that I must have been in when that photo was taken. The bikes outside, the bedroom window ajar, and the upstairs curtains drawn all suggest that I'm asleep in bed, probably naked.

It's pretty much the standard in Oxford. Bikes everywhere. The favoured way to drop you kids at school seems to be by using a kind of tandem/trailer thing that attaches to your bike. Or a plastic seat on the back. Either, way the seem to be the most popular way to get to work round here.

Are you sure that isn't a film set? Pub, kebab shop, builders yard, railway bridge, union jack... there's even a London bus and a red pillar box in the background, and possibly a church on the other side of the road. The only thing that's missing is Hugh Grant I think.

Us clogland dwellers have it too.. Sadly the gits at Google thought my street not worthy of driving down so you'll just have to guess which house and floor I live at/on

If there are any identity theives lurking on TMO the least they could do is start a thread or something. New blood is always welcome.

This is chez Keef. It was a Monday as that's bin day. In fact I drove past the google car as it was leaving the close but looking at the pics it must have already done all it's snapping by then.
So for once Norwich isn't the last place to get something and even more incredibly one of the few rural areas they've added so far is South Norfolk, including the village where I grew up which is really in the sticks (cue banjo music).
