Anybody who caught GMTV this morning will have seen our very own Ringo, talking about his new diet - "The Meal a Day Plan", which involves skipping breakfast and lunch. Hats off to him - it's great to see a young man taking care over his appearance. To hinder and antagonise him, and to revive the shocking incident that almost ruined Jonesy's posting career a couple of years back, I thought that it might be nice to have a discussion about lunch/sandwiches.
So - what are you having today?
Me?
I've eaten a Beef Fajita, some Appletise, and a Toffee Muller Yoghurt. Not bad - the fajita was a bready, and the yoghurt was sickly, but they both work considering my slightly damaged physical condition. 6/10.

I've had to modify the MiscDiet™ to avoid the permanent tiredness which resulted from undernourishment. For today's lunch I intend to eat a wholemeal pitta and 1/5 tub of low fat Lemon and Coriander Houmous.

Alright Roy, Mr. fucking renaissance man, why not start your own Hi-Brow thread? It's not like, out of all the threads that have been started today, this is the worst.

Two granary rolls with cheese. Hula Hoops (ready salted).
Pretty dull, but as I have bird flu I can't really taste anything anyway. I'm wondering if I've actually got bird flu AND Asbestos AIDS- I just found out our corridor ceiling is full of it.

I haven't had lunch yet - but for breakfast I had a bagel (one half jam, one half marmite), an avacado (I got caught in the face playing football at the weekend, and got 8 stitches for my 4 and a half hours in A&E, so thought that avacados would help my face knit itself together again) and a bowl of porridge with a cut up apple in it.
Might get some sushi for lunch though.

How? Do they have special face-knitting qualities? And surely that works more if you mash them up and apply them to your skin rather than eat them?
Try some arnica tablets - that'll help you heal.

freud's does thet BEST lunch. the green salad but get it with fetah instead of gerkhins. it's only four quid, which is well cheap in covent garden and anyway it's huge and comes with yummy bread. and this chick who must work over at pineapple dance studios or something is usually there and is really really fit though i don't think i could ever talk to her. freud's bloody mary's are the best i've ever drunk anywhere in the world so far too.
i've been a bit broke recently so been going to benjy's instead. you can get a drink and apple and crisps for a quid extra.

Been sucking on arnica for the last two days, swelling has gone down, but still can't feel a chunk of my face.
I just got it into my head that avacado's were good for the skin so went and got some - who knows, maybe the delicate mix of green goodness and balsamic vinegar/pepper will make me whole again.
ETA: Vikram - Benjy's is cheap, maybe they cut costs by not adding any flavour to anything?
