Same height perhaps, but the guy has no meat on his bones! Why don't you post the weight of the average American footballer, hmmm?

I was merely pointing out that not all footballers are fat. Do you think that guy could kick your ass ringo? Hmmm? He's faster than you. Stronger than you. Blacker than you.

If being able to kick another person's ass is a measure of one's rightness then I don't really know why you ever bother arguing with me Ralph. If you take my meaning.

It has nothing to do with a measure of rightness! We're debating whether or not American footballers are indeed the weak sissies that you portray them to be. They're not.

You obviously know very little about American football. I doubt there's four or five rugby players in the world who are big enough or fast enough to play in the nfl.

I asked some American ponce the very same question once, he told me "If some guy wearing 200 pounds of armour tackles you, you need all the protection you can get." Fucking idiot.

That's pretty much the same reason they have for driving Hummers and SUVs, etc.

First of all, the padding they wear is nowhere near 200lbs. That's a ridiculous statement to make. Secondly, the speed at which this game is played, combined with the size of a lot of the players warrants they protect themselves. If the NFL played without any padding, there wouldn't be any players left to play each week.

Ditto for owning sub-machine guns for home protection

Well, he was an American, what do you expect? Actually it might not have been 200 pounds, who knows? Who gives a fuck? It's hard to get any sense out of the average American, what with the combination of gross stupidity, the ludicrous accents and the ubiquitous mouthful of food.

lol. I have a similar problem with speaking to people from England, as it's hard to understand a word they say, what with their tongues getting constantly tied up by what they call, for lack of a better word, teeth.

Jonah Lomu, before he got ill, could probably have singlehandedly steamrollered half the teams in the NFL, even if they were all on the pitch at the same time and if they were allowed to wear their armour, and he wasn't.

Yes. The average overweight American footballer can't get his gigantic sausage-like fingers on anything smaller than Jonah Lomu. They have a tendency to urinate all over the place, as they're unable to grasp their own dicks. True story!

No, I'm not kidding. At his size (265lbs) he'd be a small linebacker in the NFL, if he had some speed and good footwork. Possibly a tight end. He's too small to play offensive or defensive line, that's for sure.
