okay can we all stop being idiots for second. Look at this. Eternal Sonata for £7. It's a game based on the works of Chopin, for crying out loud.

I'm refusing to look at any sites that have offers any more. Prince of Persia has been sent today and GH:Aerosmith is on its way, so that puts me at games that I own that I have either not played at all or just played the first couple of levels

Condemned 2
Ninja Gaiden 3
GH: Aerosmith
Prince of Persia
Left 4 Dead
Orange Box
Mass Effect
Overlord
Eternal Sonata
Tony Hawks : Project 8.

It's too many.

I got that off frugalgaming.co.uk , who are worth following on twitter if you like deals.
If you like deals but not twitter then you might like this. I redid the yahoo pipes filter for their rss feed. This feed will give you only the xbox 360 deals.

You may have missed the part in my last post where I mentioned not looking at deals sites anymore.

I've had to ban myself from hotukdeals.

I'm not just talking to you am I fucking hell. Remember, Tilde is always on the hunt for a good deal, especially now after the extension he's been building has gone completely tits up. A freaking money pit, that house. Poor Tilde.

Well, he should have checked whether there was an Indian burial ground there before trying to whack on conservatory at the back.

I got GH:Aerosmith delivered on Friday and got 5 stars on every song apart from one on expert on sightread. That was a bit pitifully easy.

Add to that the fact that I don't really like Aerosmith, and it all leads to the fact that this wasn't my best purchase ever.

No, you didn't really think that one through.

I might get GH Metallica when it comes out. If it's not out already, it might be I don't know.

I'm not going to get that as my least favourite parts to play of GH songs are parts with really fast strumming and that's pretty much what Metallica is all about.

I downloaded Death Magnetic for GH:WT and it's alright but not something I love so I don't think I'll get it.

I only got the Aerosmith one as I needed a new guitar at the time and a new Les Paul cost £45 and GH:Aerosmith with a Les Paul was on offer for £32 so it seemed to make sense, however since then I've got my two guitars that didn't work replaced so I haven't even taken that one out of the wrapper.

I see cex will give me £26 exchange for the aerosmith one with guitar so I could do that and just be £6 out of pocket and with an extra 600 gamer points or something.

I'm not the hugest fan of Metallica, but I've liked playing all thair tracks which have appeared on previous GH games as they're pretty challenging and you can get really into it.

Though I do get guilt every time I pick up GH these days as I kinda feel my time could be more productively spent playing my real guitar.

It's a bit mean of you to say that as you know full well that Benway kicked Ringo in the teeth at that now infamous meat and it has taken lots of dentistry work and counselling for Ringo to even be able to go out in public and you just drag it up for a cheap laugh.

My 360 appears to have died [Frown] I was playing yesterday and it gave two red lights which apparently means overheating but I'd only been playing about 40 mins. Left it off and tried again today and it lasted about 15 mins. Now it won't even start up but just makes a loud whirring noise and has red lights straight away.

Out of warranty as well and this isn't the RROD that would be covered by the three year warranty.

This place charged me 60 quid to fix the overheating problem on our x-box, but they were very efficient. Their couriers collect the x-box from you and bring it back. Only took about a week, round trip.

Bit reluctant to recommend anyone - we might have been lucky - but just passing on a possible option there.

You might be able to pick up a brand new x-box for 60 quid anyway, I dunno.

I might have to think about getting myself a 360 at some point, what with Forza 3 in a few months looking like being pretty good.

Cheers Dang. I might try taking it apart myself and if that doesn't work ship it off to those guys.

That controllerless thing looks interesting. The problem is likely to be that most of the stuff made for it is crap like with the Wii. I'd also be quite surprised if it managed to be as responsive as using an actualy controller.

I might have to get a free xbox 360 when my phone contract comes up for renewal. I've already got all the others, so it seems almost inevitable. Are there any good games out for it?

Well, I'm sure you'll all be excited to see that this was my Xbox about an hour ago.

 -

It still gave the 2 red lights which suggests over heating which seemed unlikely, so it suggested there was a problem elsewhere. The connection between the fans and the mobo seemed a bit dodgy so I took that out and reconnected it and it worked fine, so I put it back together again, played for about 5 minutes then got the 2 red lights again, so I'm not sure if I knocked the wire, or it was just a coincidence that it worked for a while.

We were watching some of the Natal press conference stuff from E3 last night - if it really works the way they were demoing it then people are going to need bigger living rooms. Otherwise there's going to be broken furniture and limbs all over the shop.
